I need baby shower ideas; from games, favors, food, prizes and decorations. Any ideas?

Hello!! I hope the following will help....

I just designed a page on my website...it has ideas for baby showers. Sentimental games (because it's nice to mix some sentiment in with the silliness). Also, some great favors/prizes are listed at the bottom of the page!!!

I also design custom diaper cakes. I am pretty budget friendly, too....I can work with just about any budget. Diaper cakes are great because they can be the centerpiece of the gift table....and then double as your gift to the new mom. They are conversation starters and really unique and memorable items!!

Hi I personally think it has all been done before. But since it will be both men and women and even though she is having a girl you can use the color theme of green, or/and yellow sort of pale, for games maybe you could do a Gerber baby food contest, Who Can Eat the Most Baby Food in the Shortest Time?, who can drink the fastest out of a bottle, who changes the babydoll fastest?, if there are not going to be alot of people give every couple or person a babydoll and have them act as if it were a real baby at the end of each game make sure to give someone their own special prize. I'm going to be having a shower really soon!!! I just attended a shower recently. Some great ideas I got from are veggie trays! Carrots,celery, broccoli, and dip is a fav for many guest. Also cheese and crackers! Spinach dip is also yummy! For the door prize have all your guest fill out a slip with name and address. At the end of the shower pick a name and they get the prize. Then you'll have all the addresses to send your guest thank you cards!!! Kind of neat huh! Good luck!

well i'm planning my baby shower too (i'm having a little girl), And one of the things i did was go to Youtube.com and typed "baby shower" and there i saw i bunch of videos from other peoples baby showers and got ideas from there, also if u go to google or ask jeeves and type in baby shower they'll give a lot of websites that u can go to and get ideas from, like where to buy things, themes, games, co-ed baby showers, food, favors, etc. One of the things i'm doing for mine (and is ok if u want to copy it) is turning a few tablecovers (pink ones) into curtains cause we just moved in to our new home and we don't have any yet so for the party i'm making pink curtains, also i'm planning on having quite a few people so for drinks i'm buying a couple of inexpensive metal buckets (not too big) and putting them in different places were the people are going to be, and I'm filling them up with ice, some soft drinks and water bottles so people have easy access to them, and the buckets are gonna be sitting on empty boxes (little boxes u can get at U-haul) wrapped with baby shower wrapping paper. Oh and for decorations u can go to the 99cent store, in there they a lot of cute and inexpensive thingsfor ur party, u wanna try to spend the least amount of money possible, any other questions just ask.

food: finger foods, like sandwiches, veggie and fruit trays and

decorations: balloons, streamers, and ribbon, and make sure to decorate a nice comfy chair, like a rocking chair for the mommy

also, a good idea for saving time for mom: have everyone who enters the shower to write their name and address on an envelope (to be used for thank you cards afterwards) and the put the envelopes in a pail and they can be used to draw the name for the dor prize

for my baby shower we are having a raffle, for every 10 diapers someone brings they get a raffle ticket and they can win prizes throughout the shower. We are also buying onsies in bulk and getting lots of fabric paints, we are going to have everyone decorate a onsie for the baby, once she arrives we will take a pic of her in each onsie and send them out as thank you cards.

color scheme blue for a boy- pink for a girl. u can use both if u dont know yet. favors/decorations - at 1 i went to, little tea candle were put in holders w/little boy'girl doiles, the guests took them home at the end. (big hit, very cute!) food, generally snacks, then 1 casual sit down meal. check the web for more ideas, just google it, there are tons of websites.

You could get/make balloons that look like boobies. Get a large baby bottle money box and sit it on a table and pick a word so whenever someone says that word they have to place a coin in it. You could make fruit punch and serve it in a dolls baby bath. Hope this helps, have a wonderful time.
