I was wondering what people would recomend when buying an exersaucer, and a convertable carseat. What product have you found that you loved and worked for you? Why? Any benifits to them? Any advise would be great.

living room? This means she could only play in her room... (almost the whole house has carpet, except the kitchen, her room and the bathroom)

But she's in the age when she wants to crawl and explore...

I read all kinds of bad things about carpets... Should I be concerned? What can I do?

She pulls herself to a stand , after a while she looses her balance, and falls... and I'm affraid she'll hurt herself. Now it's not that bad cause I can catch her and she just gets scared... but I just wish her own room would be safer for her ...
I wanted to put carpet over the tile floor, but I just read a lot about the harmful chemicals in new carpet... If I buy an area rug she'll chew on the cornes! (she already did with some small rug we used to have in the living room...)
So... What should I do? Leave the floor as it is, and just be one inch behind her everytime she pulls herself to a stand?...

I NEED SOME ADVICE, PLEASE!

my little boy has been rather fussy the last 2 or 3 days, is waking more during the night (we were only getting up once to feed), his cheeks are really rosy and his bottom gum is really flat. I can't be sure if i can see the tops of teeth, but he is also drooling constantly, seems to be in a bit of discomfort. I gave him panadol and he seemed to settle down, is it possible for him to be teething yet? Any advice would be much appreciated

He has two white hard bumps on his top gums, these have to be his teeth right? They also seem to be higher up on his gums than I thought they'd come in. Is this normal, is this too early for teeth?

Alright, they say to use baby oil I have try it.. let it set for 10 mins.. and comb it out and it doesn not bunge. I know theres like a treatment for baby natural something... which my rite aid dont carry it. And theres no another stores around here...Is there anything else besides using oil and that treatment? My baby is 3 months and 2 weeks.

My baby is 1mo 2wks old and she is getting the formular & breast. She sometimes act like she is not getting enough. When she was born she weigh 8lbs, 1month Check up she was 10lbs. She is already at this age taking in 6oz. beacuse 4oz. is not enough. I want to know is it to early to give her cereal in atleast 1 bottle a day (mainly at night only)in a 4oz. bottle?

Hello, I've just recently given birth to a baby boy to whom my partner and I have named Shae. He was born on the 22nd of January 2007.

My predicament is his cord is starting to smell... and I've cleaned it properly and dried it proper;y but nothing. any ideas?

and i also need some advice on how to keep him in his bed. He seems to rather enjoy laying with me. Every time i put him in crib he whines etc and wants to get out.

Also any ideas on how to get rid of hiccups (he seems to get them quite a lot)

My doctor has told me that I need to have my daughter on solids (rice cereal) no later than 6 months old, however, my daughter doesn't want anything to do with it. She completely ignores every attempt I've made to feed her solids. I've tried many different types of rice ceareals, fruits, & veggies. Even with no distractions around, she just looks everywhere but at the spoon or me. Its like she's deliberately ignoring me! I don't know what to do to get her interested. Help please!
