Help. Im desperate. Can someone please tell me if its safe to take pepcid ac if i'm nursing.

Well Dr. Sears says it is safe (see http://www.askdrsears.com/html/2/T028500.asp). Personally I'd take something more like Tums, or even safer ginger - which is totally safe. Ginger beer (non-alcoholic) I find to totally cure any ailment that an antacid can. I recommend Reed's (see http://www.sodapopstop.com/products/detail.cfm?link=602) - I think I lived on this stuff while I was pregnant.

you can take prevacid i know for sure my wife takes it prescibed by the doctor and breastfeeds. doctor said that it is a class A drug meaning that it is safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Call your local hospital and ask to speak to a nurse. You don't want to risk your baby's life to a strangers advise.
