I had such a hard time breastfeeding my first child that I gave up after a month of trying. But with my second child it just came natural and its been so easy. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a 3 mo. old daughter. I wasn't going to get her picture w/ santa this year because she isn't the best at holding her body up yet and I though it might be a struggle to get a good pic w/ santa. Should I just wait and get one next year, or should I go ahead and get one now?

Now that health authorities have confirmed after several research studies that circumcision indeed protects against AIDS-HIV infection and lowers the riks of contraction up to 70%, what do you think will be the future of those groups and lobbies that irrationally and fanatically oppose the procedure without any realistic or logical reason?

Silly question, but does it hurt to breastfeed when your baby gets teeth?

I'm pregnant and my baby is sitting on my groin and sometimes it makes it impossible to move cause of the tremendous amount of pain. It stops me dead in my tracks with tears in my eyes and I double over in pain. Now I have spoke to the doctor about this and they say its ok and not to worry but thats not what I'm worried about. What is the pain in the groin like compared to a contraction. I do have a baby and I remember contractions being painful. But it was awhile ago I was just wondering if anyone has experienced both of these pains recently and which one is more painful. On a scale of 1-10 the groin pain and on a scale of 1-10 contractions. I'm going to be induced tomorrow.

I've heard that babies still have some hormones left from the mother at first and sometimes causes tender breasts in the baby, but my first child never got this. Is it normal still after about 3-4 weeks? Baby will be 4 weeks on Monday.

Ever since my baby was born, I've used vaseline @ every diaper change. Now @ 8 1/2 months, he appears to be getting his first diaper rash. I have been using vaseline on it. I do have some samples of Aveeno & Desitin. What do you use for your baby's diaper rash?

Also do you think if the baby is larger, do they need it sooner? My daughter's baby is already 14 lbs. and 24 inches at 2 months. He is not overweight, just a big baby. He is in the 90% on the growth chart. He does not sleep well at night. Do you think a little cereal at night would help?

I have a 2 month old baby girl, she only take 3 oz during each feeding in every 4 hours, is that enough? When I try to offer her more, she will cry and put her head away...and sometime she seems she has no interest to eat...i ask doctor about it, but the doctor says it's normal for some babies doesn't want to eat in someday. but i still worry she is not getting enough.

At night im waaay too tired to breastfeed, so i just pull out formula. I figured a little breast milk is better than none at all. what do you think?

He already is almost 14 lbs. and has also grown 3 inches since birth. He does not sleep very well at night. The doctor told her he should be sleeping 8 hours without eating. I think he is too young to go all night without being fed at least once, after all he is only 2 months. He told her not to feed him if he wakes up. My children did not begin sleeping better until around 4 months or so. I was wondering what everyone thought about this. It seems to be that doctors all say something different, it can get very confusing.
