It takes 8 days from conception for the baby to implant in the uterus, then the hcg level doubles every 2-3 days after that. The hcg is the hormone that activates the "line" in a pregnancy test. If the hcg level is too low, you won't see a line. If it is high enough, a line will develop. It depends upon which test you use, and what the sensitivity is. Some tests are more sensitive than others, and can give a positive reading earlier. The earliest I've been able to detect a faint line was 10 days after conception, which was 4 days before my period was due.

If you are asking about the vertical line pregnant women get right under the navel (it's called a linea alba, BTW), it usually appears during the 4th-5th month, it's more common in darker skinned women, than those with lighter skin, is mainly due to the high levels of estrogen and it disappears after the pregnancy.

are you talking about on a pregnancy test? It will show for some people as soon as 2 weeks... I have no idea if thats what you are talking about but it's the only line I can think of... If you think you might be pregnant and the test is false go to the doctor and have a blood test. They are only 10.00

It depends on the test... Some tests will tell you as early as four days before your period... But some take longer. You will just have to get a test and find out when you should test. With any test including the ones that are supposed to tell earlier... I would recommend not testing until about 4 days after your missed period. You should see correct results then.

I think what you are asking is, if you feel pregnant how soon will you get a "positive line" on a pregnancy test.

It's best to take the test at the time you would have expected your next period. And take it in the morning for most accurate results.

If the woman missed her first period then more then likely she is pregnant. If you are asking about a pregnancy test then yes it should show within the first month.

I think you're talking about the brownish line that will appear from your belly button down?? If so, I don't think it appears in the 1st month or even relatively that soon

The line on your stomach? The line doesn't show up for everyone, mostly darker skinned people.

Line? Do you mean bump? If you mean bump then you'll notice a little bump in a couple of weeks if you're slim. Other's may not notice for ages -they will think its the clothes you're wearing making you look a bit "bloated"

I think it all depends on the person and your skin tone. Mine didn't show until I was about 5 or 6 months, but I have olive tone skin.
