I just got the Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing and it is making grinding noises while it swings. Is this normal or should it be pretty silent when it swings.

It has brand new batteries just got it. When it swings in one direction is makes a Grrr noise like some of you have responded it makes. I gues it is normal.

If you have the mobile running it makes a pretty quiet grinding sound. Mine would make a louder noise if the mobile got stuck or if the batteries were dying. If replacing the batteries doesn't work, call Fisher-Price.

Mine did that at first..the reason its doing that is because its not swinging with the flow or else you have it on a high setting and its not going high enough for that setting so it needs another push. What I do is only put it on the third dot from the off setting and give the swing a push and it does not make that grinding noise when I do that. Dont worry its normal and safe and all baby swings make that noise to a degree.

the one my daughter had made a slight grinding noise when the batteries were getting too used up. however, they seem to break down fairly often. Try putting in fresh, strong batteries. if that doesn't work, take it back to the store, and ask for a replacement.

we've the rainforest one. he's now 8 and nil.5 months and executed with it. yet at your son's age he want it. My son took all his naps in his swing until a pair of month in the past. I observed the respond decrease than me, she is faulty and maximum surprising. The small holiday one is the only that became recalled alongside with many others. the super table sure one has no longer been recalled.

I have the same thing.
It is not silent, it makes a slight rrrrrrr sound when rocking but I am not sure of the sound you mean.
Good luck, I am sure its fine, mine makes a funny noise too!

Mine does the same thing. Only, its when the mobile is turning. It gets stuck all the time and it drives me crazy! Most of the time I won't even put the mobile on.
