Have you tried tucking baby down along side you at night? There are some good articles on co-sleeping, but it's so much easier to nurse at night, than to get up and warm the formula and stay awake while feeding. When baby sleeps with me, I hear her immediately start to fuss, and just roll over and latch her onto the breast. She and I fall back to sleep. It is the best way for a new mom to get the rest she needs, and baby loves the closeness. I've done this with all 5 of my children and have nursed for 11 years.

(P.S. I know many moms who used nursed and used formula to supplement - I just wanted to share an idea that would be beneficial to both you and baby.)

My be attentive to-how of GBS is that that's somewhat in basic terms a threat to the baby throughout the time of delivery, yet i'd desire to be incorrect. often, however, I notably recomend breastfeeding. that's extra healthy, promotes bonding, loose, consistently waiting and furnish help to lose a ton of weight. some women individuals somewhat need to breastfeed yet can no longer for scientific purposes, so i'm no longer attempting to choose everybody. in case you do come to a decision to breastfeed, get waiting for some sore nipples,(before everything besides), and make investments or lease a pump, believe me, you would be satisfied you probably did once you % to flow someplace without your infant for a mutually as. as some distance because of the fact the month-to-month fee of formula is going, each tin is around 12 dollars. after i ended nursing and my son became the two eating solids and eating formula, we went through probable 5 tins a month.

Breastfeeding is the best option for babies nutritionally, but whatever works best for you and baby is what you should do. I breatfeed my baby, but I also pump so that he can get used to taking food from a bottle incase of an emergency. It is good for a baby to learn to take both breast and bottle. A little formula is not going to hurt as long as the baby is not allergic.

Some breast milk is definitely better than none. Just make sure that your milk supply is well established, otherwise you will have to pump for each feeding that you don't nurse.

For sure! I wish my daughter would take a bottle so I could get a good sleep in and my husband could feed her. If she nurses all day then that should keep your supply up. Congrats for breastfeeding, it's the best!

That's what I did with all of mine, breast fed while I was at home, and formula while I worked. Either way they get the nutrients they need.

I think it's totally up to you - there's absolutely nothing wrong with formula and breastfeeding.
