Just found out I am pregnant and needing a name that combines both of ours. (Tina and Michael) or an unusual name. I had my tubes tied in April 2003 and now I am pregnant unaware of the sex yet.

She is growing out of her car carrier and right now i can't afford to buy another seat. I have an older 5 point seat i used for my son, but it doesn't fit backwards. I also have a different kind the one where the soft tray comes over their head. That one won't fit backwards either. Can I face her frontwards legally if she is 20lbs? I live in Wisconsin and I'm not exactly sure what the laws are and I just want her to be safe. Please help!!

My 9 week old daughter started sleeping through the night which is a blessing. But she sleeps from 11pm to 9 am. I love it, but 10 hours without wanting any food seems like a lot. Are there any other awesomely good babies out there.

I have been recommended to get Fenagen for my daughter to help her sleep.
Has anyone heard of this or tried it?
Does it work and where can buy it?

I think it sounds stupid but it is the name my partner wants for a baby. I want to call the baby Moolican (after Moolican Jones the 17th century ship builder) but my partner thinks Moolican sounds a bit too old for a baby.
So what do you think? Bogrone or Moolican?

Just curious as to how common it is to go 36 hours during childbirth. That's how long my son took! And 4 hours of pushing. What is YOUR story? How many of you had CRAZY long labors? Was it your first child, second, third, etc. Do you know of anyone with a longer labor? I'm just curios because so far, I haven't met anyone who can even get close!

My baby is 4 weeks old today, his umbilical cord just fell off 2 days ago. is that normal for it to take so long? It didn't look infected or anything so I didn't worry but should I mention it to the dr?

Does anyone have any experience on this? I've never breastfed before, but have two children, and want to try it this time. However, I want to ensure the baby gets the best, but don't want to be up all night, and I know that breastfed babies can often be hungrier...so would it be possible to breastfed & formula feed throughout the day, depending on which way makes things easier? Also, is it something I can start straight away? As I don't want the baby to get too used to one type of milk.

My husband’s brother just had a baby boy. We've visited a few times and every time we are there that poor baby is very whiney and gassy. I figured he was just a whiney baby. But last night she feed him and just put him down on the couch. I'm pretty sure that is why he is so gassy, and she doesn’t know he should be patted on the back after feeding. I cant blame her, she is only 18 and never been around babies. She doesn’t have a mother or any other family to help. Otherwise I would never question a mothers parenting. I'm pregnant myself, and have been around many babies. I know this lil man needs to be patted after eating; he would be so much more comfortable and less gassy. My question is, how do I bring up to her about burping the baby and not offend her?

OKay, so I am breastfeeding, but due to my previous breast augmentation, I am not able to produce enough milk to feed her, so I am having to supplement with formula...What is better?? Nestle Good Start or Enfamil?? The Dr put her on Enfamil w/Iron but she has been passing alot of gas and even fussing before she has a bowel movement...The WIC people suggested Enfamil Gentle Ease, saying it is close to Nestle Good Start..but I dont have the slightest idea what to do....anyone have babies who are both breastfed and on either formula??? My baby will be 3 weeks on Thursday...
