she is only two days. just holding and loving her is plenty of play for now. If you nurse, then look in her eyes while you hold her. Give it a while before you actually try to "play" Give love for now. it will all come natural.

Play? Newborn? Those words don't make sense to me. She is really just getting used to being in this new world. I know it sucks but her vision is starting to focus. She can probably only see your face when youre holding her and thats whats important. That she know you and get used to you. Just hold her and love her. My daughter is 9 months and the only time she wants to sit with me is when she first wakes up. The rest of the day she has her own agenda which usually doesn't include me. It's usually finding things on the carpet I didn't see and putting smugs on mirrors. Don't forget biting on the coffee table!!!!

hello hun 2 days old is way to young to play physical with her just look in her eyes and sing to her, even read a book to her. what i did with my daughters at that age is put her in a swing or a bouncy chair and played peek a boo and things like that. black and white objects are great to.

This time goes so quickly! Just cuddle her and look into her eyes. Tickle her toes and kiss her nose. You are her favorite right now. There will be more time for toys later, but you will always be the more important to her than any toy.

SHe is 2 days old, you dont want to overstimulate her. Just hold her and talk to her. Read a book, sing a song. Pretty simple at this stage

She's only 2 days old. She's not quite ready to "play" yet. Just hold her close, talk to her, sing to her, maybe massage her with a little oil or lotion.

Let her look at your face when you are holding her close, look at her back and talk to her...You can show her toys that are black and white in color as this is all newborns can see. Read to her, even though she may be sleeping she will enjoy hearing your voice!

Don't even worry about it! Just spend some "face time" with her looking at her and letting her look at you. Now's a great time to cuddle!!

personally i have no children myself but when my sister first had her baby boy she used to be tired so i looked after him alot, it was like he was my own. when he was awake i used to talk to him heaps and heaps, even though he couldnt talk it was like we would have i good converstion lol. now at one he seems to pronounce alot of words clearly. to me the more you talk to your newborns the more you bond with them...
try saying things about yourself espescially the word dad and her first word would probably be "DAD". but yeah talk to her it beats just leting her daize around the house when shes up!!! : )
