My 9 week old daughter started sleeping through the night which is a blessing. But she sleeps from 11pm to 9 am. I love it, but 10 hours without wanting any food seems like a lot. Are there any other awesomely good babies out there.

does she eat alot right before going to sleep if so she just might cluster feed and sleep it off which is normal
if you are concerned about not eating through the night just watch her weight if she starts to lose weight then it might be a bad sign but im thinking its pretty normal

When my daughter was about 3 mths old she started sleeping 12 hours a night with 2 hour nap during the day. She would cluster feed. Its totally ok and feel lucky that you can get that much sleep already!!

My daughters pedi even said to milk it for all its worth.

My babies went to bed between 7-8 pm and slept until 6 -7 am. No one slept thru the night for many months but babies sleep! They need 12 - 15 hours a night, its not unusual or unhealthy!!! I hope you are encouraging and letting your baby to take naps during the day. Sleep is important for babies and kids.

GF, let me tell you! Both of my daughters weighed over 9 lbs at birth, and at 2 WEEKS started sleeping thru the night! I prayed for girls, and I prayed for good girls! They are now 11 and 17, and so sweet, and beautiful, and smart and special! Thank God for your baby girl sleeping thru the night already! Don't look a gift stork in the mouth! I know LOTS of babies that wake up every 2 hours on the dot to eat and poop, only to go back to sleep, leaving poor mommy up and mildly annoyed!

Ever since my daughter was first born she always slept through the night. There was a couple of times she got up but luckily since she slept with me it was so easy cause I breastfed so she probably got as much sleep as your baby is getting. Don't be worried about it. She's Fine!

If your child is gaining weight then count your blessings. Most people complain when their baby does not sleep to the night.

It does happen. She really will wake herself up if she gets hungry. Along the way she'll have periods where she wakes up hungry at night because she's growing or fighting something.

Ive known quite a few lucky parents who babies slept well at night :)

Dont jinx it for youself. lol.

It's only the first few days of your newborn's life that you have to worry about waking her up to feed her. Count your lucky stars and enjoy it (it may or may not last!). Her consistent weight gain is something the doctor monitors anyway, so don't sweat it.

keep a close eye on her weight..it is a bit long for her to go without eating, but as long as she is not losing weight and still gaining I would count your blessings
