So she threw up today and I gave her some pedialyte...
She has not had any substance, so my first question...that is ok right? I heard that you are just supposed to give them pedialyte when they are sick?

Second of all I put her in her "crib" and she hates it, I usually rock her to sleep and then put her down she wakes up and I do it again twice more. Well I am not doing it this time because I just do not have the patience right now and I always give in when she cries...I pick her up. I HATE ignoring her. Ugh...what can I do ? She is crying soooo hard right now. I am just trying to ignore her which is not an easy thing.
Plus I live in an apartment so my neighbors can probably hear it...

My son is a little over 2 months, 13 lbs., 23 inches long. I am weaning him from breastfeeding because I am returning to work. I know breast milk is best but I'm too tied down. I'm currently mixing half breast milk and half formula to ease him into drinking strictly formula. He tends to eat between 2-3 ounces every 2 hours. Is that accurate?

the package has "Scholastics" (the book co.) stamped on it, and it's got Clifford The Big Red Dog on it too. The diapers themselves have bones printed on them, and when the baby pees, the bones fade. I used them before (someone gave them to me) but i cant seem to find where to get them.. Anyone willing to help?

My daughter has a major spit up issue, she spits up at least 1/4 sometimes 1/2 of her bottle after almost every feeding. I heard that switching to soy formula would help. My neice and my 2 nephews were both on soy when they were infants. Would it be a good idea to try it.

he has not shown much of an interest in solids at all. He is healthy and thriving (35 lbs!! and off the charts in both length and weight). But I was just curious how many mothers out there have experienced this as well? Any long-term exclusively breastfeeding Moms out there whose babies took a while to show interest in food?

I have tried the conventional methods so to speak... giving her teething rings, tried a small piece of ice wrapped in a washcloth for her to chew on... right now, Im wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to help her sleep better at nighttime. I know that this isn't going to last forever, but since my husband is in the military and me being a new mom we do need enough sleep. I know that teething is going to bother her, but is there anyway to ease the pain for her while she is sleeping?

I was just curious (and really bored right now).
If my baby, 6mo, mostly sucks his left thumb & reaches for things mostly with his left hand is it most likely that he will be left-handed? My husband was suppose to be left-handed, but a teacher forced him to write with his right hand & his mom did nothing to stop her. Now he's 37yo and can't even read his own handwriting. Wouldn't that affect the brain? Isn't the left hand controlled by the right side of the brain & vice-versa?
Thanks for answering & giving me something to read. Hope you're having a good night! :-)

We are trying to find a name that suits a white and hispanic family. Not a hispanic name lise Jose or Jesus, or Alonzo. A normal name, but one they can pronounce and will like. Something unique, not just Mark or Michael, or Ethan or something. Something special : )
