My daughter is almost 8 months old and I would like to give her avocado.

Avacado is the first food I gave my daughter. Her ped said it is the easiest on their system, not binding lots of protein. Give it to her, mash it up good...I bet she will love it.

Heck yes try it. See if she likes it. I haven't heard of avocado allergies, but if she is prone to food allergies just pay attention to her a few hours after she eats it and go from there. She might love it. I know I do! Though her poo will probably be extra extra green. Yucky.

After doing some research on what foods to give at what ages, I gave my baby avocado as her second food (at 4.5 months). She loved it!

My daughter loved avacados. However, I was also nursing her at the time and I ate avacados and slod fed her avacados. It made for some really smelly diapers and believe it or not they were highly acidic smelling diapers. Other than that, I'd say go for it. It's good for them.

Yes, with my girls avocados were one of their very first solid foods. They typically really like it.

I wouldn't eat avocado and I certainly wouldn't give it to my baby, she might not like it, but it is worth a try

Avacado is YUM! I never thought of feeding it to my children though ~huh~ Anyway, if she decides she doesn't like it, you'll know :) Otherwise, I don't see the harm!

i have a baby, my son is 10 months old and i fed him avacado...he loves avacado....and its healthy for him too...i suggest u do the same.....

Doesn't baby poop look like avacado? Thats why I don't eat that messy green goo.
