yes it is! Make sure you bring an extra bottle for the taking off and landing. A pacifier will do if the baby just ate! It is like chewing gum for adults... it helps relieve the pressure! You can hold the baby in your lap to comfort it more! (children are free until age 2 and can sit in your lap)

Definitedly safe for a baby to fly unless he is not feeling well. He might suffer from slight pressure discomfort during take-off and landing. All you need to do is let him suck his pacifier (soother) or feed him with milk/water at that time. Enjoy the flight!

Sure is. I would suggest getting an extra seat for the carseat though, it'll only be half price. Just make sure they have a bottle during ascent & descent to help equalize out their ears.

I was told to wait until my son was 3 moths old before Flying us from Hawaii to Maryland. But this was a LONG time ago.

Check with your Pediatrician.

I would think the flight may make him/her very uncomfy, since our ears pop in the air, and theirs are so small....the noise, and him/her being so young, im not sure, but I wouldn't if it were me, but good luck ,and call the airport, they could tell you 100% more of what any know it all on here could tell you. lol
