We are trying to find a name that suits a white and hispanic family. Not a hispanic name lise Jose or Jesus, or Alonzo. A normal name, but one they can pronounce and will like. Something unique, not just Mark or Michael, or Ethan or something. Something special : )

I personally love the name Gabriel, and I think it sounds lovely when said with a Spanish accent. It's "normal" enough that people can pronounce it and recognize it, but special enough that he won't have 4 class mates with the same name.

You might also be surprised that some "normal" names actually have a Spanish origin. For example, I went to BabyNameWorld.com and found out that Damarion is actually a Spanish name. I think it is nice, but also unique. If you scroll through their list, sorted by origins, you might get some good ideas.

Good luck!

One way of making your son's name unique is combining the first names of the father and mother. For example Kenneth + Debrah = Kenrah. It becomes a little ghetto fabulous once the names become more complicated but it would show that you wanted to create a name which encompassed both parents heritage.

We are a hispanic/white family as well!

We have four boys

Scott Andrew < he goes by "Drew"
Tyler Joseph
Kyle Hunter
Gavin Michael

Gavin is my favorite name, way back when we had him it wasn't as popular as it is becoming I picked because I wanted something different! My husband always wanted popular names, which drove me crazy! :)

Other names I like Zachary, James, Jonah, Dean, Connor, Damien, Nathan, Cord (cordero), Justin, Blake, Towle, Langley, Evan, Ethan, Sammuel, Treavor, Colby, Bradley, Darren, Lance, Albert, Arthur, Alan, Grier, Hudson, Collin
