Does anyone know if the Pampers Baby Dry SIZE 1 has the stretchy tabs? I think they are like "catapiller flex". I know they are on size 2 and up, but I couldn't find any in size 1. The swaddlers are the same price, but you get less diapers, so I prefer the Baby Dry.

I have a 7 month old baby girl. She is in the begining stages of crawling, and I put her on the floor to practice. My apartment has hardwood floors, and I have some area rugs around. My baby has the tendency to jerk her head back and forth( it is just something she has been doing for months) and while she was on her knees, crawling, she banged her head pretty hard on the floor. She has a small, dime sized ,light greenish mark on her right temple. Should I take her to the hospital? This is my 2nd child and Iam trying not to be as overprotective as I was with my first. I had the tendency to over exagerate everything! So I do not want to do that again. Is it neccessary, do I need to call her pedi?My hubby is at work right now, I don't want to worry him, or should I call? If your going to make a silly comment or judge me, keep it to your self!!!! Serious answers only! Thanks so much!

Sometimes when I'm changing my baby's diaper, he pees all over himself before I have a chance to get a new diaper on him. This annoys me quite a bit because then I have to wipe him all off and clean up the mess.

Usually I'm not very gentle about wiping him off because I'm annoyed, which greatly upsets him. I never intend to be rough with him and I know he can't help peeing on himself, but I still get very annoyed when it happens. I want to stop doing it because I'm worried it could make him emotionally insecure when he gets older. I always make up my mind to be gentle the next time it happens, but once it happens I end up being rough again.

by the way.. I know you never shake a baby and I'm not being rough enough that I would ever injure him.. I'm just not very gentle about wiping the pee off of him and it really upsets him.. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how to stop doing this?

ok, now I don't wanna really hear about me rushing my baby, and about how I should let him tell me its time. It will be time when it's time, and it's approaching quickly. He pulls the diaper off, and shows great new interest in the toilet, and watching daddy pee. Trouble is, he's not walking very well just yet. He cruises some...but not walking or standing well on his own. So for now, how about some tips so I can approach it properly (or rather, so daddy can approach it properly) when the time comes.

most gift baskets seem to offer things that the mum already has loads of - or things that she would never use. or they have useful things but are really expensive. i am thinking of selling some and would like to know what you think should be included - what you would like to get. I would like to do baskets for mums, babies and both together - what kind of price would you also be willing to pay - whats the very most that you would pay?
thanks very much in advance

My neigbor and I have play dates with our babies while our oldest kids are in school. My daughter is 4 1/2 mths and her son is 6mths. While at the park yesterday she was yelling at him , and she admit to me that she spanks him every night in order for him to sleep. She says she rocks him and if he doesn't fall asleep she hits him. Now , he's only a baby , you don't hit babies. He doesn't know any better. Do you think its child abuse ?

Please no smart remarks, serious ppl only.

Plus, my aunt told me yesterday, a woman at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Phila, PA gave birth to a TWENTY ONE POUND baby. It hasn't hit the net yet, but I know it will soon. What in the hell are these people eating to give birth to flippin toddlers...no, screw that, kindergardeners? I know GD can make babies large, and a few isolated giants have been born elsewhere, but it seems Americans are giving birth to obsese children left and right, born with a bucket of KFC extra crispy and a handful of butter. No one even bats an eye at a 10 pounder anymore, and that was considered huge back when I was a kid. That's normal now. Did I miss my free human growth hormone injection or something? No one sent us the memo.

Her mother and I are no longer together. I get her every other weekend and she is a joy, a definite turn around after a LONG work week. At 39 she came late and at the end of a marriage, she was a beautiful parting gift from God. Can anyone think of a better way to spend a beautiful day???
