My 7mo daughter is currently on antibiotics for an ear infection, and has been for over a week. In the last few days, she gets angry whenever I try to feed her. She still drinks milk/breastfeeds just fine, but she refuses to eat solids. For example, all she ate today was approx. 4 spoonfulls of sweet potatos. She normally eats much more. Should I be worried about this? Should I try to force her to eat? Or avoid the confrontation?

My MIL is really wanting to put my 2 week old in her home spa which is chlorinated. I am really against it and need some info that I can tell her about how bad chlorine is for his skin, lungs and can cause asthma but I'm having trouble finding the info on the net. I am really worried about it and have told my partner that I don't want my baby in her spa at such a young age but I think he finds it hard to tell his mum since she just says- 'People chuck babies in pools all the time.'
Can someone give me advice and info on why it is bad and when the best time is- 6 months?

Ok she is nipple confused I stick her on there but she cries and shakes her head I still keep trying though sometimes she clamps on but only for a second or 2, for the nurse who said don't put my breast milk in with her formula they where letting me do that in the hospital she was born in so I would think it would be ok , plus she is still getting some kind of form of breast milk. so how could this not be a good thing?

My two month old has a temp. of 99.3. I was told when he was born though to bring him in if this temp. was 100 or more. But I am still worried. Should I be concerned or just keep a close eye?

Hello! My son is just now turning 3 months old. He used to take a bottle just fine but when he turned 1 month i decided to strictly breast feed because I loved it and i loved the connection and the fact that it was healty for my son. Well just about 2 weeks ago my husband brought up the idea that i needed to get a job and that i should wean our son. I am not ready to wean and i definitely dont think my son is ready either because he wont take a bottle from anyone whether i am there or not or whether its breastmilk or formula. How do i get my son to take a bottle or at least how do i get my husband to get off of my back because our situation has kinda put a damper on our relationship because im not comfortable working knowing my son will be starving because he wont take a bottle. I wish he would have told me this before he told me it was perfectly fine to stricly breastfee. HELP!!!!!

was using J&J bedtime soap and had no prob...was out of town and used a diff J&J soap and she started to break out but I also washed clothes in reg detergent there too. Because she was broke out I then switched to Aveeno moistorizing (supposed to be frag free and good for excema). DR said she had an allergic reaction to something or may be irritated by our clothes. I have started using dye and frag free soap for us, dreft for her, but not sure of what is the best soap to wash her with.

It does say that on the jar but I dont believe it... I think its just a ploy of the baby food companies to sell more baby food.

I breastfeed my 3 week old, and she always makes a clicking noise when she eats, kinda like it breaks the suction.

She latches on fine, and my nipples aren't sore.

Why does she do that?
