Okay, I use Enfamil Gentlease Lipil for my daughter who is almost 7 weeks old. WHY is it when I put the formula in her bottle, cap it, and shake it (like the instructions say)... these little hard formula balls form like they weren't shaken well enough. This even happens when I use say a plastic fork to stir the formula to mix it.

What are some good ways to prevent this?!

I mean if babies were like totally gross or obnoxious or just extremly boring and not CUTE or Precious in any way - I personally dont think anyone would want to have one - I think the population would be alot smaller -LOL

This is just a silly question -but I just wanted to know what your opinions are -I find it interesting - cause my neice is SO ADORABLE & CUTE -if she weren't at all -I'd probably not want to be around her as much - everything she does is so cute !!!

infant feeder? My baby's pediatrician told me to spoon feed her rice cereal and not to use an infant feeder, I've read that the use of one can increase the amount of food that the baby takes in each feeding and lead to excesive weight gain, but my mother-in-law insists that the feeder is good and that "she used it to feed my husband". My baby is almost 5 months old. What to do? Sugestions, please!

HLHS is Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. My daughter has it, and I was just wondering how many other people may have it. If you know anybody, just let me know. Also, let me know how they are doing. Thanks.

My son is 9 months old. I left on a week long vacation and he stayed with my mom. She said he slept in his crib the whole time (he is not a cuddler so I totally believe her) and we came back and the first night he wouldnt sleep, he was very clingy so I let him sleep with me, which he suprisingly did..ANYWAY he wont sleep now no matter how tired he is in his crib. As soon as I lay him down he goes to stand (which he JUST learned this week). I let him cry it out or wear himself out for about 15 mins at a time but nothing works. FINALLY i put him in his jumper and within 5 mins, his head is on the tray and he falls fast asleep with an occasional jump. I tried sitting in the bedroom with him, thinking he may be scared of me leaving, but that doesnt work either. ANY suggestions about getting him back in the routine? Is he growing out of his first nap and maybe just needs one in the afternoon? ANY suggestions would help and please no mean answers!

I am addicted to cofee in some ways:) I did drink it while i was pregnant, but in moderation. I drank one cup max a day, and if i did, i put real milk in there (half and half or whole milk) to add more benefits for the baby. Now since my baby is 3 weeks old, I hear that its not good to drink cofee at all while breastfeeing even in moderation. What do you guys think?

She is well fed before she goes down and often she gets a head rub to put her to sleep in our bed. Most of the time she just has to lay her arm across one of us to make sure we are still there. If she doesn't feel a human touch while going to sleep she rolls around and screams. When we try and move her, all hell breaks lose. We have tried music, a fan, complete silence, and anything else we can think of. Should we let her scream it out until she falls asleep or is that bad for her emotional well being. HELP

My daughter is 8 months and has never taken a bottle or a pacifier. I have to nurse her to sleep for naps and at nightime. Otherwise, she just screams in her crib. Nothing else works - I have tried rocking, patting her back, everything - she just screams, but if I nurse her she goes right to sleep without a peep. I don't mind nursing her to sleep, but worry that I am setting a bad pattern or that she will not learn how to fall asleep on her own. Will it create a bad habit and sleep problems down the road if I continue to nurse her to sleep? Should I stop nursing her to sleep? If so, how can I get her to fall asleep on her own without all the screaming? Letting her cry it out is not an option. I don't feel good about letting her scream - I think it is okay if she is just fussing a bit, but dont think it is healthy to let a baby scream her lungs out. Any advice or personal experience would be helpful. Thanks!

What are some good names (Taiwanese but she speaks Mandarin/Chinese) that are pretty in both languages but not too, too far-out-there? They are planning on hyphenating their last names for the baby girl "Chang-Rea" (pronounced Ray).

Any suggestions?
