Super fancy dressy outfits
Diaper stackers

I agree on the baby wash cloths, they ended up in our rag bin, I do like the towels though.
Exersaucer and johnny (or jolly) jumpers are on my useless list, my daughter HATED them same with baby bouncer.
Baby monitors I agree with too, someone gave them to us just for me to give them away a month later when I found out that they made her cry LOUDER (more nerve racking when you haven't had any sleep).
Vicks Vapor was wonderful when BOTH Ally and I had a cold, our noses would run, I even bought that plug in thing!
Bibs were useless, I only used them once. I was able to feed her without getting food everywhere and so was my 15 yr old sister (feed TINY amounts and they don't spit it back out!). Only my babysitter wanted the bibs. Now I just take her clothes off while we are at home and even NOW I don't need to do that because she has "perfected" feeding herself (20 months old).
Also agree with baby nail clippers (I used regular ones) and baby bath robes!

I used a baby sling in the kitchen sink and then into the big tub when she outgrew the sink.

I have a small plastic dresser that holds 160 diapers and 8 packs of wipes that sits under my desk out of the way AND my daughter doesn't get into it (like she did on the changing table).

I agree with everything on your list (especially the "what to expect"books) except for changing tables and bibs. I have two in diapers and I got a second changing table for the first floor. It holds everything that I may need neat and tidy and I don't have to go upstairs for anything. And bibs? Wow how old is your baby? I uses 3-5 bibs a day and my youngest one is only 11 months.
I'd add:
baby nail clippers
baby bath robes
baby shoes, hard soles, for babies who aren't walking

I do not agree on you with the bibs...my son who is 7 months goes through, at least 2 a day and the diaper genie is awesome. My house would smell if it was not for that!!! I agree with you on the wipe warmer(they have to get use to cold ones while you are out), changing table, bottle warmers(I heat it up if i am out at 7-11 in the microwave when he is ready for his next feeding), dressy outfits are defintely a waste and more than 7-8 outfits cuz they outgrow sooooo fast. The basinett/playpen was a waste...I should of just put him in the crib when he got home...ok, have to play spongebob monopoly with my daughter....

Everything except for the change table and baby bath tub for newborns! Jolly jumper and the excerscaucer is also amazing! The rest of ur list can be accomodated by common sense things!

the things i find useless.
baby powder, who needs it. change baby when wet or soiled.
baby wash clothes, too small didn't work well use a cheap glove (dye free/white) from walmart 99 cents.
diaper stackers
diaper gene (they have these disposable diaper bags with scents at the dollar tree bx of 100) or even a plastic grocery bag works to use for an entire day.
wipe warmer, set them on your heater or radiator.
changing table, you end up changing them on the floor, couch, where ever, also a long dresser works with a blanket on it. and diapers and wipe in top drawers. out of site out of mind.
regular high chairs, waste of space and money, travel ones can be used as high chair, booster or even a time out chair when needing to buckle them in to keep them there.
sleep positioners, baby finds what is comfortable to sleep.
those monitors for breathing, unless Dr tells you otherwise due to birth defect or something.
bibs, cause either they get the clothes anyways from leaking trough or they just rip them off, my daughter hated them. naked is much easier to clean then stained clothes.
i would have to say the bath ring, and baby bath tub helped me. cold house with no heater in bathroom so baby bath in warm room. bath ring cause my son always wanted to lay back or stand up.
the excersaucer is a good, my daughter loved that thing, used it daily for about 9-10 months.
walker is good if you don't have stairs, my daughter used it daily for 7 months (she liked chasing her brother).
johny jumpers or jumparoos good, both my kids loved them when i was cooking, helps keep them out from under you feet and away from the stove while hot.
baby monitors good if you are a deep sleeper or baby cries are soft (both mine were soft criers).
big diaper bags are good for long road trips or for long flights (15 hrs to and from Germany each way). plus usefull if you have 2 kids, toys added in it.
bottle warmers, put in warm/hot water, change baby and done.

I never used those thin little tiny washcloths that are for babies- useless! The towels weren't all that absorbent either.
I am seconding the vote for bath rings! You could almost break a kids leg getting them in and out of one of those contraptions.!

Wipe warmer, bottle warmer, fancy outfits (who actually dresses a newborn in something lacy/scratchy/frilly? I'm all about comfort, and so are my kids!), those little grooming kits (I always filed my kids' nails when they were infants, they were both born bald, so I couldn't use the brush!, bulb syringes aren't good to use, and they didn't have teeth, so why did it come with a tooth brush??), and any diaper rash cream other than Calmoseptine and Boudreaux's Butt Paste. :)

I really like the bottle warmer. Put the bottle on the warmer, change the kid, and the bottle is ready to go. I always thought that a wipe warmer was the most ridiculous thing I've heard of. Really? We need the wipe to be warm in order to not shock the child with a cold cloth to his crap-covered behind? Please.
I was going to say car seat as a joke, but people probalby wouldn't have appreciated that humor. : )
