I think its a great name. You name your baby what feels the best in your heart. It is a good strong name for a boy. I ve read some of these answers posted on here to your question. Dont listen to them especially about the one about its overused. Please dont name him something that he will be made fun of at school. Go with Hunter, its great.

There is a lot more than just letters and sounds to a name. If you would like your son to be a hunter, then I think it's a fine name. There are Lot's of baby books out there that give you lists of names and their meanings. Negative and positive.

No, there are too many Hunters already and people are going to call him Hunter Gatherer, Hunter Fisher, and other stupid things. That is a 1990's name and the trend is over with.

If you get all worm and bubbly inside when you call your sons name "Hunter" then that is the perfect name. You name your son what ever you think his name should be, because that is very special!!

I dont think Hunter should be a name. It would be like naming him Plumber or President.

I have always loved the name Hunter. Also the other Name I have always loved is Ryder. But my aunt stole that one.

I think hunter is a strong name for a boy...a bit unusual but my sons name is Raidyn ( from mortal kombat) LOL Its definatlly masculin but again not your usual name. He WILL know its him being yelled at HAHAHAHAHA
