My baby girl started doing this from when she was 4 1/2 months old .She has been a little early with all her developmental stages.
So do not worry at all .Ur baby is just a active normal baby.
All the best

That's great that she is finding her feet, soon she'll figure out that she get bring them to her mouth and suck on them too. My son would always do that when I was changing him or he was in the bath, where his feet were not covered with socks or pj's. I would not worry at all, she is developping wonderfullly, her legs will not get deformed by doing this. Babies are so flexible, I'm sometimes jealous...heheh. She's doing great, people really like to put doubt in our minds don't they ?

OMG! That is the silliest thing I have ever heard! My daughter started grabbing her feet at 3 months old and was crawling around 4 months. Now she is nine months and if she pulls up on something like the couch she can walk. It is good to let them put some weight on their legs while you are helping it builds their muscles up. Don't listen to those people they have no clue just ask a doctor.

Who ever told you that was pulling your leg. She will not have deformities. She is strengthening her leg muscles so she will be able to stand up on her own. And all babies play with their feet. My son is going on 7 months and he is already crawling and pulling on things to stand up.

I think that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Who told you that? Do they have any other OLD WIVES TALES to tell you? Do you mean trying to stand when you are helping hold her up? That's just exercise and helping build muscles so she can walk but it's all playing to her. If you mean found them and reaching for them with her hands and playing...that's just playing too.
I've got 2 boys who loved to be held upright when they were babies so they could strech their legs and jump around. Both are JUST FINE and playing school sports

Your baby sounds great! Very explorative. I wouldn't let her stand on her own weight just yet. She's still a little young & "wobbly". I don't see a problem doing that with her in your lap & you holding up most of the weight. I did that with all 3 of my kids & they walk just fine. They are great soccer players! Good luck!

They won't get deformed. Babies bones are pretty strong and not supporting that much weight.

WHAT! that is the dumbest thing that I have ever hear. babies develop at different times. babies are naturally flexible and can bend into really weird positions. unless you are tying her feet to her head, i wouldn't worry about it.
