Your nipples are just responding to the sucking actions. Its perfectly normal. The extra blood flow and milk color make the color change.

If you ever feel concered, and your gut tells you its something more, always call your doctor.

This happened to me alot in the early days, too. It's really normal. If you have any tenderness with it (which you don't seem to) you can try a lanolin cream like Lansinoh, but otherwise, it's fine. It's just your nipple getting used to some really intense suction.

More blood is being pulled into the nipple from the suction of your baby nursing. It is perfectly normal.

it is fine i have 2 children and is currently breastfeeding mine does the same think. A baby's suckle is so intense that it causes this. Dont worry and dont give up its the best start you could give your child.

It's actually that your blood flow is really heavy in your nipples when you breastfeed. It's a good sign that your body is working right!

It's normal. It's the pressure from the baby sucking.
