My daughter is 11 mo. and almost 18 pounds (she was a preemie). Tonight, she puked everywhere in the car. I don't do well with puke and nearly vomited while cleaning it up. It was in the buckle, and in every little crevace you can imagine...even in the car seat base that stays in the car.
I just got done giving her a bath and cleaning up the car seat the best that I could, but it still smells, as there's probably some inside the clips and buckle. I am currently washing the fabric cover.
My question is, since she will need a forward facing seat soon anyhow, do I throw out the infant seat even though it took me almost an hour to clean, and buy the rear/forward convertible seat that she's going to need soon anyhow? And then buy a booster when she reaches 40 pounds.
Please answer quickly as the store closes soon if I should get a new one.
