He was told to do one of his daily chores and after I discovered he did a half-assed job and left a mess, I made go out and fix it. In the verbal exchange that followed I pushed him because he was taking back to me and he began to "tell me how it was going to be". I put my finger in his chest and pushed him back into a wall. He went and told his mother that I "shoved" him and began to cry. In seeing this my wife began yelling at me saying that I have no right to touch him. Her son is very combative and talks back, has no respect for anyone else and acts like he is "entitled" to all he has or wants. I know that what I did was wrong but he has absolutely NO discipline outside of sending him to his room where he is more than happy to go. He has his own phone, tv, computer and video game players . I'm at the end of my rope and my wife won't go to counseling. I was raised in a strict household with accountability, structure and rules, I feel helpless and am thinking of divorce after 8 yrs!

My 7 year old son acts totally normal at home but then sometimes gets goofy in public. I guess he is in one of those stages but he will pull his shoulders up by his ears, put his teeth way over his lips, slouching his back, all at once. He almost looks like at TV character. I instictively say, "STOP". I know that is wrong but I am in total shock and embarressed. What do I do when he starts acting like this.

My 3 yr old son was given a trial for a cough and fluid in the ears that will not go away after 2 doses of antibiotics. The singulair seems to get rid of the cough, but the past few days he has become a holy terror!!! He wil not sit still and he is talking a mile a min switching subjects too fast for me to even answer a question. This is not like him and it goes away in the am, then returns an hour or so after he takes it. I may need a switch anyone have this experience, and was there something you switched to that did not cause this incresed activity?

My 9 yr. old went to day care with a girl who was teething and picked up the nasty habit of biting his sleeves and collar. He has ruined some good, even new, sweaters/shirts this way and I even saw him biting his coat collar. He does not have psychological problems, is not developmentally disabled(is actually quite bright and an A student) and is cutting a few teeth but claims there is no discomfort. I have tried talking to him, but he still does it while distracted. It is just a bad & nasty habitWhat can I put on his collar/sleeves that isn't toxic to get him to stop? How do I get him to stop biting his clothes?

I was just hoping that someone who has maybe been in a similar situation can help me out. My nine year old daughter and I fight constantly. I know, it is ridiculous, to fight with a nine year old, but the thing is she speaks to me as if we are equal and speaks down to me. Her father spent 5 years verbally assualting me on a daily basis, and when he began to get physical I left him. Evidently she blames me for this... I had a lightbulb moment one day about 2 years ago, when she was an inch from my face telling me that "you mean NOTHING to me, do you understand me?", yes, she was 7 at that time. Anyways it occurs to me that she speaks to me exactly like he did, she just doesn't swear. I try desperately to ignore her when she gets like this, but after 6 years (her mouth started at 3), I just crack sometimes and we end up in a screaming match. I know I am the adult in the situaion, but I cannot help but feel like I have spent enough of my life being spoken to like a jackass. Ideas?

She made friends with these 2 girls very fast and they all played together at recess all the time. The one girl started to be mean to her out of no where and now the other one will team up against her. One day they are all friends and then the next day they both turn on her. She was crying about it and told me that they hurt her feelings. What is the best way to tell her to deal with the situation?

She has been doing this since last year, and I tried having her go to the bathroom before bedtime and stop drinks at 6 PM except for the occasional water after her snack.
She goes to bed at 7:30.
Her doctor said her kidneys are fine, and she'd out go this.
Do you have any remedies to prevent this?
Should I head to the Pull-Up? or Goodnights?

And it's not just bed-wetting, her teacher called me last week saying that she wet her pants in class and never asked to go to the bathroom.

What can I do?
I feel bad that she might be (and I'm pretty sure she is) embarassed

My fiance has been a widow for 4 years and now we are getting married. One of his sons is six and has a "girlfriend". They are in the same class and are BestFriends, but they call each other sweetie. I thought it was cute. Until recently.

He was invited to her birthday party and of course I said yes. Me and my fiance were going to be away that weekend and his grandmother(my fiance's mother) was in charge of the kids. Apparently the b-day party turned into a sleepover which my soon-to-be-MIL didn't know, he lied and said he was going to a friend's to sleep over. The parents said he slept right next to her. Other boys slept over. I need to end this little "relationship". My fiance agrees but doesn't know how to approach it so it's up to me. HELP!!

This is for a novel that I am writing.

This little girl is 7yrs old.. Her name is Lily. She was raised by a man named paul, who exploits her abilities for his own selfish gain.

Lily is taught to obey commands from someone she considers as poweful. She obeys Paul's every command, like a dog. She has been used to kill innocent people, even her own mother.

When Paul was arrested for kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Lily was asleep at the time. She was taken to a childrens home. When she wakes up, she realizes that her master isnt here. She threatens to kill the other children if noone takes her to him. The staff injected some drug that calms her down. Lily doesnt want to play with the other children. She's always alone.

The other children are afraid of her, so if she see people run away from her, she gets apprehensive.

She's 7 yr old, and she can barely speak. I think the only word she can say is "Master" nothing else.

How would you describe this girl?

Despite being called "his pet". she actually takes that as a sign of love. She really shows affection for him. Paul is the only one she knows.

She doesnt know what a mommy or daddy is. She can't talk at all.

Do you guys think she has a mental disorder? If so what Is it and how can it be treated?

How would you describe this little girl in one word?

She is 6, and although there is no actual physical proof, she is constantly coming home with UTI's from her mother's home and she seems to be attached at the hip to her father when she first comes home too.

Tis 11 yr old girl, named lily. She was kidnapped when she was 6 by an evil(i guess u could call it that) man named paul who fell in love with her virgin mother, named emily. He erases her memories and when commanded kills her mother.
A year later, he raised her. He becomes cruel to others if his servants dont meet his expectations, if he has no use for someone he kills them. He treats Lily cruelly, but compared to Paul's other servants, it was alot less. But despite the cruely, she actually shows alot of affection for him. She calls him her master. She loves him quite alot. She does everything Paul says without arguing. Much like a dog. But Paul seems to be very indifferent to her affection.

Paul calls her, his pet. his toy, weapon etc. He explois her to kill innocent people with her telekinesis. She is much like a dog.(makes sense?) She do anything to please him.

After that Paul was arrested, I forgot da charge. Then Lily was taken.

My son is 7 years old, he is bright and thoughtful and sensitive. He had a pretty tough first 3 years. His bilogical father was abusive to me and then at the end twords him. His biological father always favored his younger brother because he was more of a man's boy. My 7 year old has been adopted ( as has his brother) by my husband and does not even know his biological dad, but he mainly grew up with me as his only role model as my husband is in the army and has been deployed 2 times in the 3 years we have been married. My seven year old loves dolls, the color pink and for Christmas, he is asking Santa for a tea set. I see no problem with this what so ever. I have twin daughters and a two year old and he is very "mothering" twords them and so very sensitive. He hates sports, despises getting dirty and gets hurt and cries at the drop of a hat. Again this all does not worry me. To me every child is different and I love that he is so sensitive. additional details below...
