there was just a thing on the today show about a girl getting in trouble at school for hugging her girl friends she got a detention and another girl got in trouble for huggin a friend after the death of a parent....
whats wrong w/ ppl for real we aren't allowed to hug but they are passing out birth control to 12 year olds am i the only one who thinks this is wrong??

Why do you think people do this? We see it all of the time...Some people make it blatantly obvious, while others are caught contradicting themselves in the previous questions and answers that they have given. Why would someone find the need to lie over the internet? Do they not get attention in "the real world"? Do they think that we are all going to think that they're cool...and why would that matter? Any thoughts on this?

(And yes, I probably could have posted this elsewhere, but I frequent this section, so I want to hear from the people I "see" on here everyday.)

If you havent read my first question then it proubly wont make since. So yah. Well, i didnt get to some of the peoples answers onhere in time so i just sat in my room waitin. When he came up there he whooped my bare butt wif a freakin belt, and now i got like bruises cause he was so mad. Im not one to complain but i swear it still hurts and it been a whole day. I couldnt even sit down in any of my classes, and got in trouble.

I've never really traveled anywhere and I'm in California..tomorrow morning (Thursday morning) me&my favorite are gonna drive to Las Vegas, Nevada (about 7 hours away)
and we aren't coming home until Sunday around noon(after lunch)

i've never had to pack anything before and this 3 day trip is freaking me out!!!!1 i have to pack my own suitcase, i am a 15 year old girl and i need your help...like literally tell me how many of each item i will need please help! make me a list..

the only thing i can think of that i absolutely must take is my toothbrush, cellphone&charger, and my hair straightener(i heard there is a blow dryer in the hotels..is this true??)...
ah im so lost help me!!!!!

In September of 2006 when I was 13 I was raped by a much older man in my own home and ended up pregnant. I kept my baby throught it all and love her in spite of its hard ships and she was born right after I turned 14. Over the summer I started dating a close friend and we ended up having sex a few times then I told him I didnt want to do it anymore that I felt were too young. He got mad and broke up with me. Just today I learned as a result of our sexual relations I am five weeks pregnant. I cant handle having two babies at the age of 15 and I really just wander what i should do. I feel like because I was stupid I am now paying. I can barely handle one and I do this alone. My dad is always gone and my mom works late nights and is asleep in the day so I am alone at rasing my baby and my 6 year old sister. I just am at a dead end and really hurting for some nice advice now. What should I do about this?

My friend and I had a party at my friends house over the weekend and I guess you could say it got out of control! The house was a mess and a few things were broken and there were stains on the carpet and stuff. We thought we were clear because her parents didn’t notice anything when they got home, but last night my friend called me and was like my parents know! And now my parents are probably going to find out and then I’m going to be grounded for even longer than I am now! What should I do? Should I tell my parents before they hear it from someone else? I am 24 years old, and I work doing therapy with adolescents. Because of my background, I decided to check out what kind of advice these teens were getting. I can't believe some of the things these people are saying to them! I am outraged. If you have nothing productive to say to these teens who feel like they are going through terrible difficulties, then just don't post. No one deserves these snide put downs, especially those struggling through such a difficult time in their lives. Ok.. I'm not sure what to do.. My friend Madelyn likes this guy, whose my friend. There was this big mix up about how they kissed, and he told me they didn't. But he also told me that they both like each other. And that he likes her a lot. The problem is there both my friends... and their not going out. and my friends madelyn tends to change her crushes quickly.. but me on the other hand I'll like him for the next 2 years... Why can't they think of anyone other than themselves? My efforts to teach them seem futile. I'm exhausted trying. They're disrecpectful of each other and of me. They're slobs. They're lazy. They're excessively self-indulgent. They think life is hard, but they don't know the half of it. Do I just hold on till they're out and on their own, and then watch them struggle pittifully to deal with reality, while I refuse to lift a finger to help them? They're 14, 16, and 17 (boy, girl, boy). Could it be that I think I'm trying hard to teach them, but I'm just decieving myself? Do I just not know how? Could I learn how to talk to them to motivate them to be considerate and responsible?
