Age shouldn't come into it really, wait till you can afford a place of your own, if you can do this at 17 then by all means move out, its more likely you'll be a lot older before you can support yourself financially. I think thats more important than worrying about what people will think of you still living with your parents.
thats what I did anyway, and now I have everything I need I dont owe anyone any money and I'm still young enough to enjoy myself along with my wife and children, because I didnt get into debt when I was younger.
I hope that helps you decide . good luck

Your never to old to live with your Parents especially if there in bad Health and you are not Living off them but contribute to your upkeep. However it is more Healthy for you to Leave when you come of age, the earlier the better for your own Independance.Because sooner or later you will no longer be able to look after them or they you . You have to go out into the World and find your own way. I would say no older than 21 make your own mistakes and fix them ,do not depend on your Parents to keep wiping your Nose when you get into trouble. Leave them to enjoy their Retirement in Peace.

its difficult now as say 20 years ago... houseing and rent was a fk sight cheaper compared to saleries.
you got universtity grants and free tutition so not so in deptb.
living costs were a lot cheaper and you could afford your own home on 3 times what you earn.
Cant do that anymore so people have little choice but to stay at home to help pay debts and avoid financial problems and cannt afford their own place at all.
help to go uni and travelling if you can ... at least that way some time with peers away from home to help you grow up.
Also helps if parents fine with you brinignover people to have sex with either dates or girl/boyfriends
ideally id say 18-21 uni followed by some years travelling, sorting out a job and getting promoted so can afford to live and have a life them perminantley out.
but the world wont let you do that anymore as cant afford to

anything above 22-23. I feel like by your mid tweanties you should be done with college and have a job, your life should start coming together a bit. It seems only natural that around this time you would become independent from them and support yourself.
My sister did these things at the age of 22 so this is what I'd consider normal. Best of luck

There's no certain age I think. From when you feel ready to be on your own and take care of yourself. Most people consider 18-20 the best ages to leave parents' home and I'll go with that.

2 ways of doing it really. 16 is a good age to leave home just to get a real feeling on the world and it does teach you a lot. With the house prices nowadays though I'd say 21. Stay at home for as long as you can it's cheaper :)

Well as a parent of 3 sons, at one time or another my older 2 have had to live with me but once they are on their feet again they move out. So for me there is no age, but I will not let them mooch off me. They must truly need my help.

Personally i moved out of my parents house at 15 (5 years ago) and could never imagine not having my freedom now even though i am only 20!!!
I guess i would say that i would expect most people to leave home at 18!!!!
