Tell a family member. I don't know what would make a little girl like that want a baby but you can't save her, she should know that it is a bad idea.
Maybe she is just saying that.

The logical question with anyone who wants a child - how do you plan to support it?
If the idea is to sponge off the welfare system, or your parents - well, that only works for a while. Welfare doesn't pay that much; minimum wage jobs are no fun; and mama or papa ain't gonna be supporting you for long. Daycare costs money; so unless you marry a doctor or lawyer, you aren't going to be doing anything except sitting at home with junior or working your tush off. That's the harsh reality of single-parent or minimum wage families.

When all her friends are going to parties, or the bar, she'll be sitting at home. Want the latest music or to go to a movie? Nope, you'll be spending all your money on diapers.

Who's the lucky father-to-be? Does he know that he's in for 18 years of garnisheed wages? If he makes any money, the welfare department will take it to pay back money they've already shelled out? No motorcycle or backpacking through Europe or surfing vacations or whatever dreams he had? This presumes that he's not thrown into the clink for sex with a 13yo...

Maybe you should warn the guy. After all, she may be lying to him - which is a great way to start a parental relationship. There are several ways, from lying about BC pills to the old "vaseline in the snatch to dissolve the condom" trick.

Kids are a lot of work, and at 13 you've got 25 or 30 years before it's too late to have them. Live a little first. Wait until you're older, more settled and have agrasp on where money comes from and what it takes to live.

Babies aren't plush toys. You can't just stick them in a corner if you get tired of them. You commit yourself to 18 years of hard labour, which may or may not be rewarding and appreciated.

It also sounds like she wants someone to love to make up for what's missing in her life. Messing up some baby's life is not the solution. If she wants to find out what it's like, get her to help out someone else who already has a kid. See whether a week of straight 24-hour baby-care cures her of the idea.

Tell your mom (or guardian if it's not your mom). She needs to be closely supervised so she doesn't have unprotected sex, or at the very least put on birth control.
You are right your sister is too young to have a baby and too young to be having sex for that matter.
What kind of example are you setting for her? If you are sexually active (or if you had a baby young) she may be copying you--what can you do to influence her in a different direction by what you DO, not just what you say?

Hope this helps--this is too serious for you to keep a confidence and not get an adult involved immediately--they will know better how to handle it and what to do. This shouldn't be your burden to bear.

Tell an adult like parents that your sister is talking about that.
Teen pregnancy is serious.
Your sister is very immature to have a child. If she wasn't then she wouldn't be talking about having a baby at the age of 13.
You need to go find your parents and tell them what she is thinking about doing before she becomes pregnant.
Babies win the hearts of many people because they are just so cute and love-able. But they can take alot out of a person because they are needy. If she wants to experience being a mother then tell her to babysit for infants!!!

At 13!??!! is she crazy?
i mean if she is pregnant already there is not much you can do but that is crazy wanting to get pregnent at 13 on purpose!
By the time she gives birth to the baby she will be about 14 (im 14 too). Please tell her she can NOT have a baby at 13. It is way too young, She is probally only in 8th grade or a Freshman right?!? What will she do with school, what will her teachers think of her big belly, it wont be baby fat it will be a baby in it ! I know so many girls who had a baby at this age and it has ruined there life forever. Instead of acting like a kid, your sister will have to stop and care for one herself.

And the guy who wants to get her pregent .... Sounds like a pig and clueless to me.

Please talk some sense into her.
Best of Luck

Had my first at 17, my second at 21 and my third at 27. I am only just in a maturity, emotional & financial position to give them what they require. I adore them but you need a life first sweetheart or your tied down for the next 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 years. Let loose first girl!!!

Teen pregnacy is a serious problem today. I know your sister will feel betrayed but you should tell your mom. Also tell your sister how your feeling and why she shouldnt do that. God Bless :-)
