I'm 14 and going the gyno for the first time! I'm so scared. What if I dont get a female doctor? I dont think I could deal with having a guy one. I'm scared its going to hurt to, I've never had sex, been fingered, or used a tampon. what all goes on when your there? Dont they put a finger up there....i'm so scared please help. I want to know everything that happens at these.

I'm 18 on the 22nd November. I really can't be bothered with a party.

My birthday is in the middle of important exams (well important for my friends as they havn't been accepted into their University courses for next year yet). We also have prize giving and other school functions around this time.

After that we have holidays and I'm going overseas.

Everyone tells me that I should have an 18th, but I had a big 17th and it was a lot of effort to organise.

Is it ok to not bother?

what the 16,17,18yrs old of today are really up to
like when they say kids binge drink, we dont binge drink, we go on binges on coke, ecstasy,shrooms,and prescription drugs.
we used to binge drink back in 8th grade. the media and basically parents have no idea what we really do.
i think if they just were to ask an actually cool late teen one of the many stories we have , the country would be shocked.
noone has really any idea how reckless we are.
when our generation gets to be in their 20s or 30s i think then the country will find out how reckless we really are. i know people know we are bad but not nearly as bad as we really are. its gonna be a shock to alot of people what our lives consist of in an everyday basis. the kid that were seniors probably just 4 years ago , have NOTHING ON US. much less the kids from the 80s or 70s. so never believe what you hear on the media about teens or any statistics about teens cause changes are we really are 15x more bad then that.

I just found out a bunch of seniors in my high school are literally in their 20's or are 20. Does anyone else find that unnerving? I have seen this seniors going out with freshmen and sophomores and I just find it disturbing.

about 3 months ago my 12 year old started masturbating. I noticed that she runs straight to her room upstairs after school and closes the door. If I move quietly toward her room I can hear her. We already had "the talk" about the birds and the bees.

I'm concerned cause it takes very little to set her off. We were watching "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" one weekend. We were laughing at the scene were they were shooting up the house when they start kissing. My daughter then excused herself and went to her room. I followed her a moment later and heard her tiny little moans. I've noticed that anything with the small bit of sexuality (like kissing and touching) and after awhile she's heading for her room. I try to keep an eye on what she watches. Her favorite is Degrassi. I've blocked all films above PG13 and TV14. I'm very open minded woman and know its normal. But she just seems to have a very little self control and give in to her urges too easily and quickly.

She is 14, she is my step daugher, i FOUGHT for custody of her and have help raise her from birth, she is out of control with disrespect. was at school one day and my period came i had a pantyliner on just in case. I went and stood up to ask my teacher something (who happens to be really hot and so nice) and my firend ran up behind me and whispered that there was blood all over my butt. I freaked and started crying my teacher came over adn asked me what was wrong and i told him that my period leaked and that i had a huge stain on my butt and that i ddin't have any tampons or pads. He told me to talk to him in the hall so that know one else would hear (like guys and stuff) so that i would feel less embaressed a bunch of guys saw my pants adn started laughing and told everyone. my teacher told them to stop and leave me alone. He told me to calm down and that he would get me a pad from the staffroom and told me to change into my gym shorts.
After that all the guys would laugh at me and make fun of me one guy even came to school the next day and gave me a pad i got really hurt by that and scared.
Should i be embaresed?

I've had A LOT of unprotected sex (stupid, i know) but I'm unsure if I'm pregnant. I took an EPT about 4 days ago that came up negative, but as of today I think I'm about a week late for my period...and i'm constipated, fatigued, bloated, really gassy, and feel kind of nauseous at times. I know the usual signs of my period coming and these are not it! I would be no more than three weeks pregnant if I was...any suggestions? I dont know if an EPT would pick it up?

My friend is very emotional.
She crys about her parents being mean but whos parents aren't from time to time.
She complains about being single and when she isnt single she complains about what the guy does or doesnt do.
She is overly sensitive. She takes offense to everything and shes been VERY mean lately. She is very pushy and believes she can do what she please and gets offended when she cant and my parents and her friends parents dont like her and her attiude. She has no respect for her friends parents rules and does what she pleases when she is at someone elses house.
Shes 16 years old and is very naive and immature which contributes to her emotional problems.
Things have gotten worse recently, I dont know what to do, I wasnt like this when I was 16(Im 18), she CAN be a sweet person, Ive seen her be nice but I dont know how to let her know that how she is being lately is driving everyone away and her behavior is unacceptable.

I need advice on what to do.

So this guy just started talking to me via Yahoo messenger. I never even met him. I have no idea how he got ahold of my Yahoo messenger thing. So, he asked me where I was from, what my name is, how old I am, how tall I am. I told him I'm not looking for a boyfriend, and I said my name. He's 35! I'm 15 ish. I'm 19, in college. Except for some minor faults when I was under 12, I never got in trouble. I've always have n excellent relationship w/ my parents. I don't live w/ them because I have to move out for college. When I was 14 I made a mistake. Once I gave in to peer pressure, went out w/ a crowd I knew was not very good. I drank a bit w/ them and even considered joining them in some wrong and dangerous stuff, but fortunately I was enough wise to get out. No one got to know and I thought about telling my parents what I had done. I asked for the advice of some adults, most scared me, said I'd lose my parents' trust and would get a harsh punishment. They were understanding and loving, so I don't think that would be the case, but I got scared and decided not to tell them anything. Anyway, I knwew I had been about to mess up, realized that would have been stupid and was sure I wouldn't do that any more. It was a very wise decision, I avoided some completely unnecessary problems.

Well this girl who is middle school age stands at the corner to wait for her bus every morning. I am 25 yrs. old with 2 kids and one on the way and I drive by there every morning to drop my daughter off at school. Yesterday as I drove back home, she yelled out something to me that sounded like "slow down", I heard it so clearly even with my radio on, I made a stop and everyone had their heads down as if to say "oh damn, she heard us" so anyway, I left it alone and went home..this morning I drove by her and she gave me a dirty look, so when I drove by the 2nd time (to go home) she did it again so I stopped and asked her what her problem was? she said nothing and denied giving me a dirty look. I'm not gonna mess with her obviously but I don't want to drive by every morning and have her give me dirty looks..did i do right by stopping or what would you have done? i kinda of feel bad now, but i haven't done anything to her, and i'm sure she's gonna tell mommy later which is fine.
