You should have to explain yourself to anyone!
I have the same trouble when people ask me what I want for my birthday, I just have NO idea. I'm 24, and I'm not successful, but I am married. My husband and I together have all the thing that we need to live a pretty good, well off life style.
Like you I have all the typical things, cell, ipod, laptop... etc, and hate having people feeling obligated to have to purchase me something. I always feel bad!
I saw someone else mention that Travelling would be a good idea... Maybe you could get your parents to set up an account for you and people could annonymously put funds into that account for your big OE when you're old enough!
It will be the experience of your life time!
All the best with your decisions!!

Wow...It does seem like you own a lot of stuff.

But it also seems like the stuff that you own was given to you.

Get yourself some pride for your B-day. You might be too young to drive but you are never too young to grow closer to your parents.

Try this. Ask for an old beat up car for your B-day. One that you want of course, but get a beat up one and restore it with your father. I am sure tht you two could learn sooo much about each other and about restoring cars and I think that it would be a great bonding experience.

At the end, you will find an amazing sense of self accomplishment, will have grown closer to your father, and come to the realization that you have that you have to work for things.

Or...another possibility, ask for nothing, and just be content with what you have : )

IN RESPONSE.....So what if you are a girl, girls drive too! : )

Travel. How about asking your parents to travel you to places like umm...Singapore. I've been there and it's really nice place, modern and safe. Or Philippines, the beaches there are magnificent or wherever your like. Through that you get to spend some quality time with your family. You said it yourself that you don't need material things anymore and if your parents are successful I understand how people misinterpret your attitude.

I really think what you want right now is some valuable moment with your parents. I'm convinced this is the perfect time for you to tell them how you really feel.

I wish you all the best and advance Happy Birthday! :]

If you really dont know what to get then you probably dont need anything. Tell everyone to give whatever money they were gonna spend on you to a charity or someone poor. That way both you and the giver and the charity will feel good.
3 happy people for the price of one

Sounds like you have most of what you want already. Any strangers can not answer that for you since it leads to a dead end. My suggestion is to ask for nothing. Surprise your family by telling them you have all you need...who may in turn surprise you with gifts that are suitable since they know you the best.

Well i say get 2 or 3 friends together and go to a spa and get facials, massges, manicures, pedicures the full works.
It is a really good thing to do and you have lots of fun.

You are a very spoilt child. If I was your mother I'd give you a euro for your birthday and tell you to try and make as much money out of it which I'd let you keep for Christmas. You need a reality check.

Get a pair of UGGS they keep your feet fuzzy and warm.

I agree you do sound very spoiled maybe you should just go out for a dinner so everyone would enjoy.

I say, ask for something you would like to have. It sounds like you already have everything you NEED. Perhaps you could ask for a charm bracelet. Each x-mas or birthday your parents or family could buy you a new charm to go on your bracelet. My parents did that for me, I still have it and love to look back at each charm and remember what was going on in my life that year for them to have chosen that charm.

Be a bigger person and stop going on with the people trying to start a verbal confrontation with you.
