My older brother (24) and I were walking down the street from the gym. 6 other guys are walking towards us, around his age. My brother told me before they crossed us "Watch them move out of our way". When they come towards us, they move right on to the grass.

We both started laughing, My brother told me, see how they just moved out of our way? If you're a tough looking manly person, people who are self concious, look bad, are weak, will just move out of you're way because they get intiminated.
My brother is a bodybuilder, who I agree is good looking, is 5'10 and 205 lbs.

Is this true of what he said?

I have been 100% sure a 10 year old girl was mine. I never saw her. In two days I will know and i am not seeing it. The mom has her doubts. I want her to be mine. If she isnt that means I've ruined 10 years of my life for nothing. I dont know how I'm going to react if she isnt mine. *09 people say they think she is. They cant all be wrong. What do i do?

Hey I am a 24 years guy and living alone at present. This girl of 14 years living next door used to come to me almost every day for playing with me. I was also thinking that she comes to my home just for playing. But yesterday, she tells me that she loves me and thats why she visits me daily.

I really went mad. A kid... OMG... I tried to explain to her, but she is little cranky. Cried, shouted and went home back. I am embrassed to talk to her parents too, because, she is still a kid and I do not know how her parents will understand this. How to explain this girl that she is still a kid and ..... I dont know what to tell her. I am sort of work, work, work natured guy and this is the only girl who spends time in the evenings with me, when I am free. I was too happy to meet her as a kid that needs some one to play with.

Please help me, how can I explain to this kid?

okay so in P.E. every Friday we swim laps, and now that its fall its starting to get really cold. I have P.E. first period so its really really cold and at the beginning of the year she said we will only swim til like october. Last Friday it rained so we didnt swim but we still had to get dressed out and play volleyball- which was fine. But these like 6 girls in my class didnt get dressed out and my P.E. teacher got pissed and she was like "OKAY IF YOU GUYS AREN'T GOING TO GET DRESSED OUT WE ARE SWIMMING EVERY FRIDAY NO MATTER HOW THE WEATHER IS" so now because of them we have to swim in an unheated pool in the morning while its freezing. its really annoying having to be wet the whole day when its cold since i have it first.

isnt that unfair that we ALL have to swim now just because of 6 girls? how do i get out of it? I really hate swimming and i was dressed and did what she said? should i talk to her? (shes can be kinda scary) please help. i dont really think thats fair...

I'm a freshman in east valley Arizona and I'm looking to get a job since I spend tons of money on a social life. My parents are fine with it so that's not really a problem.

I was just wondering what types of places hire teens that AREN'T in the fast food industry? What are some ways I can show a possible employer that I am mature enough to handle a job? Please help me.

I have an asian friend that had a major growth spurt when he was 12 and now he is 17 (he is 5'6). I am also asian, when i was 12, i was 5'1 and now i am 14 and 2 months and I am currently 5'7, my friend didn't grow anymore once he grew up to 5'5 when he was 12 and he hasnt grown for 5 years. Will this happen to me too?

also i shave every 5 days chest hair has just started to develop maybe 3 or 4 months ago im 17 1/2 im barely under 5-10 at 17 i was 5-9 my dad stopped growing at 18 1/2 but had a full beard at my age which i dont my moms side has late bloomers meaning her brothers grew at my age 17 1/2 4 or 5 more inches until 21 and 22 2 of my moms brothers are 5-11 and the other 5-8 her parents are 5-3 and 5-11 my dads parents were 6-0 and 5-9 im not sure who i take after im almost 5-10 dont really have much hair really at the inner thigh which i assume is from the groin straight down to the knee groin got hair cnt feel chest hair cnt see it all

if i took a clear blue digital on sept. 23 and am expecting my period on tuesday sept. 25, do you think that getting a negative test result is pretty accurate? i didn't actually have sex, but i'm just freaking out a little....my clothes stayed on and everything. i know this sounds crazy, but i'm just being paranoid. it's been since sept. 1st that this happened. so do u think if i was pregnant it would show up by now?

My boss' daughter is turning 18 and going away to college. I've decided that since she's been so good to my family I'd like to get her some gifts. Please keep in mind that she's such a sweet girl. How can I possibly convince my parents to let me gey a phone? I want one from Kajeet. I have $205.00 saved up, which could pay for the phone and about 14 months of service (and that's only now, I get tons of money from christmas). I don't understand why I can't get a phone. When I brought up the topic with my mom, she screamed at me and called my friend's parent's crazy for giving their kids cell phones. Just tell me how I can convince her that 1) i'm responsible enough, and 2) she won't pay for it.

My mom has all kinds of problems, Diabites, Neropothy, bad back , obesity, swollen leg and hurting knees. She seems to always be looking for Help but when the many Dr's she goes to tell her things she doesn't seem to do them , or says she does but I know she doesn't. She lives alone and wants it that way.. I live close by but I can't be with her as much as she seems to want me to be there. It wears thin on me ,trying to help her and see her this way. BUT I KNOW she doesn't help or watch herself including what she eats .She seems to blame it on something and Never takes any blame. She is always looking for a magic pain pill or something . I almost feel the Dr's are giving up on her also... I won't give up on her but she needs some control and I am not good one to give advise ,,she says I have NO idea what its like to be in her pain.She hasn't had a good day in weeks . I travel lots and can't be with her as often as she needs or wants i fear. It almost is effecting my marriage too.

Hi, I'm 17 and was adopted when I was a baby. And I don't know what my ethnic background is. I know my biological mother is white British, as I have a picture of her. She has light hazel eyes, light/medium brown hair, and very fair skin with freckles. And I have dark brown eyes, black eyebrows, very dark brown hair, and olive/tanned skin. I know nothing about my biologial father, for legal reasons, and I'd just like to know what his background is, as it's quite obvious i'm not full British. I know have a clue what I am. A couple a weeks ago a girl asked me if I was part Japanese as I have kind of oriental shape eyes. A few days ago someone from the Middle East asked if I was from England, and said I looked like the women fom Egypt and not English at all. But most people guess that I'm Spanish. It just upsets me a little that i'm not able answer them something as simple as that. I feel mixed up. Is there anything I can do to look up information about my dad?

Well im 15 & a couple of months ago my dad moved me & my mom, & brother from New York to Texas. Anyway im a freshman & at my highschool they had a college thing where diffrent people talked about diffrent colleges & they were talking about NYU ( that's where i want to go) & they had a letter thing you could sign up for information every month for only 10 dollars. So i signed up for it ( i payed for it with MY own money). So the first newsletter came today and my dad got really really mad! His saying that im never going to go back to New York ( even though when im 18 i can do whatever i want), that im not mature enough to go to New York ( even though i was born & raised there). His making me really mad!! His still hollering & screaming!!!!! What do i do? His really stressing me out, & his hurting my feelings!

My son is about to turn 12 & he's becoming very stereotypical of a teenager. He tries to be Mr. Class Clown & Mr. Popular. He's more interested in the 15 year old up the street & his friends than he is with school work!

Already this year (since July) I've received a call from his band teacher about how he won't participate, doesn't come prepared, etc. I talked to him & got him to realize he needed to straighten up & he did.

Then I got a call from one of his teachers saying he's not turning in all his homework (he always tells me he does it at school). And now yesterday I got a letter saying he's failing 3 of his classes!

What do I do?!?!?! Ground him for a week? Make him study each night? I feel so blind because I don't know what's going on at school. I have no way of really knowing if he's got homework when he says he doesn't. I feel bad because he was supposed to be held back last year but I convinced the school to move him on. I KNOW he can do this!! Somebody help me?

I live in a small town, (2,395 people) and I was walking on a sidwalk by a park. I am 13, but I look a lot older. There were some guys I see all the time smoking by thier car. I walked by them, but I looked the other direction. ONe of them walked in front of me and asked, "Hey, wanna dance?" I am sooo sure he meant sometihng else. I already told my mom, but I am so scared for my life. Ay advice? I can't sleep, or stop crying.
PS. My school DOESN'T have a counsler.
