I work out, and I play volleyball. I'm stronger than the avg girl. Do guys find that intimadating?

Nope. I'm not intimidated at all. I play soccer and tennis, and I still have a 4.5 GPA.

It is wonderful that ur so athletic. If u want boys to like u, when ur not working out wear lots of pink and make-up. If ur not the girly type, like me, then just don't wear ur work-out clothes all the time and wear some matching cute stuff. I don't wear make-up, because I don't like to and I play soccer. I am pretty athletic, but I don't wear pink. But... I am a very short 12 year-old girl. I wear my hair up all the time the same way. Boys don't find ME intimidating, but if ur pretty tall and muscular(and etc.) then u probably do intimidate them, unless if there are some boys that are more athletic then u. U are what u are and u don't have to change the way u look. It will just make finding a guy easier because u know what type u want!! GOOD LUCK!!

Look at my picture, does it look like i am intimidated by anything? Anyway to answer your question, MOST guys that aren't very athletic are intimidated by a strong girl. Also bluntly speaking MOST guys don't want to look like a ***** in front of all their friends. But for those guys that really don't care, as long as your a cool person to be around and fun to hang out with, then those guys won't be intimidated by you.

You keep doing what you're doing! "Boys" will/might be intimidated, but a "Man" won't. Work out, strength train, do your aerobics, participate in sports - continue all the activities that appeal to you. At the same time, don't forget or neglect your femininity. Men are seeking an intelligent, independent (to some degree), strong woman. Pay attention to your hair, your nails, the way you dress - there's no need to 'advertise'. Note: all Males are not Men.

hey i work out, play softball, basketball, andd i absolutely LOVE volleyball (and i play it), but like you im taller and stronger than the average girl..i also have some muscles that are WAYYYY bigger than some guys..like how my calf muscles are "absolutely huge" and "look like a football players"...i also have huge shoulder muscles and some guys thinks thats cool..its just when girls start bragging about their muscle size that guys get turned off..just play it cool and act like its no biggy..after all..being tall and strong is a good thing isnt it?

The ignorant ones. For some reason boys don't like being outwitted, outplayed, out runned, or out anything by a female. They think females are supposed to be weak and fragile, stupid and naive, so they can have their way with them. ( At least the ignorant ones do.)
Anyway, don't be upset, some boys like strong girls.

why is it a competition? in no way am i intimidated by women like you, the bad thing is you abuse your power on innocent victims when all this "girl power, keep doing it, make boys cry" gets to your head then you become dangerous. but nooo the legal system will turn the blind eye to independant "strong" women like you

I sure hope so...for the most part...they know they can't mess with you or hurt you because you will beat the living crap out of them! But, another "jock" might not be, because you might be "right up his alley", and it just might "turn him on" someone to toss the ole pig around with..be on a ball field and be part of the team..wrestle around with and give him a toss and tumble and hard time a good work out...make him sweat..arm wrestle with..there are guys who are going to "Just Love You!" just the way you are! you don't stop being you for nothing or nobody...shine on..mr right has his eye on you..you just don't know it yet!.....you go girl!!!bye...

I'm also stronger than the average girl...Some guys I know are scared, and some of them don't care. It depends on the guy
