..but theres this HUGE party tonight that i CANT miss!
so what excuse should i tell my mom .. i was thinking going over to my friends house to study but its still early in the school year so i dont know if that will work..
any excuse ideas to tell my parents?

How 'bout this, ya take ur grounding like a grown up and prove that your reasponsible and then ur parents MIGHT let you go. If you lie or sneak you'll probalbey get millitary school (much worse than grounding). And im sure you DONT really need to be at the party, you just WANT to be at the party. There is a huge differnce between WANT and NEED!

Dont say you are going to study, thats a classic, say something like you have a project that you 2 need to work on or something.
I used to have my friends mom call my mom and say that we were just going to sit around and watch movies, then we would tell my friends mom we were going to the library to use the computers and go do other **** instead.

if youre grounded, theres probably a good reason for that. and if you were thinking about telling your mom that youre going over to a friends house.. how exactly would that work if you are grounded anyways. but do what you want since you obviously arent going to listen to any of us anyways, even though you asked for help ;]

They'll catch you. You will leave one little tiny clue that'll expose the whole thing. Just be good an miss the "HUGE party". There will be others.
If you go out, and get caught, then your parents will ground you even MORE.. then you'll mix the next party, outings with friends, dances..

i say u tell ur mom that ur really sorry for what ever u did....(hope it wasnt that big) and tell her that u really learned ur lesson. and then nicely ask her if u can go over ur friends house because its her b-day and she really wants u there, and u cant miss it....or tell her that one of ur friends is moving out of the state and that day will be her last, and that u really wanna see her....should work.
