she is in the ninth grade and once, i was on the phone with her after she had finished four beers, a bottle of vodka, and two mixed drinks. she tells her parents that she has a horrible headache and she takes a shower and gets into bed, brushing her teeth twice so that they can't smell the liquor on her breath. i want to help her, but i just don't know how. we've been best friends since the third grade, and i don't want to lose her friendship. her parents and i aren't that close, and i don't want them to think i'm lying. i'm not sure what to do anymore, and i really want to make sure she's okay. please help me figure out what to do.

Do you think this world would be so much better without teen pregnancies and sex before marriage? I think people should change their kids dating age to 18. It seems like whenever a teen gets pregnant they cry and feel sorry for theirselves. Some people even call me immature because I think it is bad to have sex before marriage! I think having sex with a "boyfriend" is immature. The only thing teenage boys want is to have sex.

im going to be 18 next june (yay lol) and if im going to get a job soon and get a car and then stay in a dorm in college next year, does this mean i still have to follow all of my mom's rules? shes still kinda not happy about the fact that i have a bf whos 18 btw and i was wondering if im legally allowed to make mi own (smart) decisions when im 18?

In our house are 16 people, soon to be 17 once my daughter has her baby. We have one bedroom for the three boys to sleep in ages (6.5 y/o and 3 y/o), then there is another bedroom that my three y/o girls sleep in along with my 4.5 y/o and my 6.5 y/o little girl. Those rooms each have an attached bathroom, and there's really no issue with showers since all 3 boys can still kind of shower together and I can shower 3 girls together and then let my 6.5 y/o shower by herself. In another room I have my 7.5 y/o and my 10 y/o twins (all girls). They also have an attached bathroom to their room. My oldest Charianna is pregnant and 16 y/o, and she has her own room on the other side of the house so that when the baby gets here they can share a room and all of that. But my two girls Danielle 14 and Scarlett 12 are the ones who are driving me CRAZY. They fight over having to share a room and a shower 24/7 how can I fix this?

When I was 15 they were kinda mean. I made mistakes (who doesn't?), was lost. They were cruel, said flat out I had lost their trust, something real parents should never say to their kids. II suffered a lot, got a harsh punishment and it took months to earn their trust back though there was no reason for that. This almost destroyed me and sure destroyed our relationship. I got over, today at 25 I'm OK, graduated and with a good job but we never made up. Now my parentd made a huge mistake, lost much money and are difficulty. My lil sister that lives w/ them asked me to help them. I can and cause of my sister I will. But how should I do that? Tell them they were so harsh and cruel to a 15 yo girl and now at their age they made a a much worse mistake. My dad promised he'll pay me, but should I tell him flat out I can't trust a 55 yo man that made such stupid decision? I'll see them tomorrow, my sister said they are grateful, want to hug me. No way, I can give them $, but hugs, NEVER!

I have a friend who is almost like a brother. [Joe] I have no problem with him. But his friends are another story. They say perverted things to me everytime I call or im Joe. They grab the phone from Joe and say things like "I love you will you marry me?" "I wanna have sex with you!" or "You are a hottie with a body!"

Then they laugh.

And just yesterday, I imed Joe and his friend said to me "I wanna rape you so hard you sh.it on my testicles."

that was it. I don't think it's funny. At ALL. How do I deal with this crap?

BTW, they are all about 14 years old.

I'm planning on sending these answers to my parents, so here it goes. I'm 12, turning 13 in December. I'm very responsible and a straight A student. My parents don't think I need a cell phone, which I have been begging for! When I go out, I need to take my mom's phone, or borrow a friends. Its embarassing when people ask for my phone number and I can't tell them becuase its not mine! They offered to get my a firefly, but I refused because that's just as embarassing as not having a phone! I'll help pay every month, and I won't even call or text THAT much on it. Nothing works. Not even offering to do chores nd not get paid. I don't care if it's all I get for Christmas, or my birthday. Also, it will be a lot easier to get in touch with me, and they won't have to call my friends mom to see where I am! PLEASE answer this question!

Disclaimer: I'm 16, not some creepy old lady.

My question is this? Why do teens feel like they have a right to privacy? You know, while they text about having sex with their boyfriends and getting abortions behind their parents' backs? It happens, I'm not even exaggerating.

Let's look at the facts: the parents pay for internet, computers, cell phones, phone plans, and the house (for the vast majority, so it is a fair generalization). Why do teens then think that they deserve to use the parents' money to do whatever they want? The parents have a right to know how their money is being spent, and if their child is in danger. Sorry, your friends are part of their lives too. Sorry, they have a duty and right to know if you're having sex with someone because it affects your physical and mental health. Sorry, they have a right to check your internet history and text messaging to make sure that their money is not being abused.

Why do teens think that all of that is wrong? Thoughts on this?

I'm in middle school, and it seems like most girls (and boys, for that matter) are just complete idiots. This girl came up to me and asked, "Do you wear that tie every day?" mockingly. When I gave her a look and said, "No, not every day," she snickered and went back to her friends, and then they laughed and pointed at me. Why are they such idiots? Why would they think that this would hurt my feelings, because it's just so stupid? Frankly, I have one question:

How could I figure out where my real parents are....

I have a lot of information on them... I was adopted when I was 5 months and I really wanted to get to see my birth mom when I get older and I'm only 13 but when i get 16 I want to find out where they are.. they still mean a lot to me even though I've never meet them!!!

I live with my mom, and my 18 year old brother. I'm 12. I never knew my dad, and my brother kinda filled the dad role for me. I'm 17 years old and I haven't had my regular periods since I started having sex with my boyfriend. Its september now and I've had 2 very light periods this whole year. I took pregnancy tests they all came out negative, I use contraception but I dont't know what is wrong. I told myself not to pay attention but lately its gotten to the point where it really hurts to have sex. I havent been to stressed or have gained or lost weight. I want to have an idea of whats wrong with me before I go to the doctors this week.

I'm 17 years old in the last few months I've lost 15kgs/ 33pounds. I havn't done anything or changed my diet or don't more exercise or anything!

I'm still 'normal' weight for my height my BMI is about 20 (last time I checked). I'm still losing weight and people are noticing.

Should I be worried that this weight is falling off?

I am 13 and I'm thinking about babysitting. Ive taken a Safe Sitter course but do not know CPR. Is CPR absolutly necessary??I also don't know how much to charge. I was thinking $4-$5 an hour. I babysit my brother and sister often.
