Your 12 year old is running your life only because YOU ALLOW IT! Be a PARENT (which should have started when the child was very young!) Set boundaries and disciplines and stick to it! Bring in outside counselling for both you and the child. You need to do something now, because if a 12 year old is running your life, then you have more problems than can be addressed here. Contact school counselors or the area mental health clinic for assistance

Kick some *** and take some names. Put your foot down and don't take no for an answer(unless the question constitutes a no; i.e. "do you want a spanking") Your child is 12, and running your life. My child is two and knows when i get up i mean business. If spanking and yelling don't work, take away privelages and allowances(if he\she has any). And if that don't work, just wait patiently by the door, so that when the police show up with your child in-tow, you can go right to yelling before the police can ever tell you why they are there in the first place.

if this is real... you need to sit up and whip that child butt gurl what is wrong with you... sorry to say but your husband must beat you becuz you are scared of everything! Even your own child how old are you? Did you have your child at a young age? please seek help!Are you a single mother? I don't understand you might wanna go on the Maury show you know the ones... when the kid are going wild and the mother just sits there and cry. The number is 1800 48m aury. You should really think about it what kind of things is your child doing anyway how can you seriously let them run your life?! Go to a counselor.

Inform your child that when the rules are broken then a punishment will be forthcoming. No yelling or screaming, just a spanking or grounding. What ever you feel comfortable with. Be consistent. No ifs or buts. At the same time praise the hell out of your child when he does something positive. Start that now and it might just rescue you both.

Offer reasonable 2 or 3 choices to the subject at hand. If one of them is not accepted than do NOTHING. Walk away and ignor her/him. With this, you are still allowing her/him to feel as though they are running the show by making a choice. Actually you have already decided what is acceptable by what you have offered. Tantrums are quieted the best by ignoring them. Say nothing, do nothing. Simply repeat your offer

Shut up you need to get help. that is the worst thing that you can say that your child something that you made ruined your life. your own flesh and blood.. you need to talk to a doctor.. Is your 12 year old the adult in the family or are you?? Maybe you should act like it!!!!! Grow up!

1st of all you shouldn't. are you sure he's yours? because if he were yours then your love for him would prevail and you wouldn't think about killing him in the first place. and if he is ruining your life, maybe it's just a stage. just wait for 6 years more then let him go. he should be independent by then and he won't be needing you anymore. if that statement hurts, then i suggest you stop thinking about killing your son.
