she is in the ninth grade and once, i was on the phone with her after she had finished four beers, a bottle of vodka, and two mixed drinks. she tells her parents that she has a horrible headache and she takes a shower and gets into bed, brushing her teeth twice so that they can't smell the liquor on her breath. i want to help her, but i just don't know how. we've been best friends since the third grade, and i don't want to lose her friendship. her parents and i aren't that close, and i don't want them to think i'm lying. i'm not sure what to do anymore, and i really want to make sure she's okay. please help me figure out what to do.

you need to tell her parents and have them get her into rehab. She may not like you at the moment but, in the end she'll thank you. If you let it go it'll only get worse.

I'm sorry this is happening to you and your best friend. If she thinks that brushing twice gets rid of the smell she is wrong! If I were you I would talk to her,if that doesn't work can you talk to another family member or maybe a guidance councilor?Maybe you could even talk to your mom or dad about it or a brother or sis if you have one.Good luck been there when I was a teen, it wasn't easy.It only gets worse if she doesn't get help.

I actually have some questions:
Where is she getting all this alcohol? How big is the bottle of vodka? How big is she? How was she mixing drinks in her house without her parents knowing?
BTW, how is your baby doing?
Either you are lying, or her parents are completely blind, deaf and dumb. In which case, tell your mom what is going on so that she can talk to them.

Start telling folks. Alcoholism is a sign of a bigger problem that she needs help dealing with. Howver whatever you decide to do it won't work unless she wants to start dealing with the problems. When she does and you help her she might not like you so much for that right then but in the long run she will love you for it.

She needs help or she will die. Do you rather she live and hate you? Or die? Tell your parents all about it and let them talk to her parents. Or call the school counselor.
I turned a friend in once, and after she got sober, she thanked me. Said she needed the help.

do some research about what drinks do to kids that age(14 or 15?) read it to her make sure she know that there are a bunch of risks to it, if she continues drinking, try talking to her parents or even yours if you're not comfortable talking to hers, this is NOT a healthy habit, and there HAS to be something done about it, she could ruin her life!!

After drinking that much she's lucky she's not dead.
Send the parent's a typed anonymous note stating their daughter has a drinking problem.

u need to tell her parents. she could die of alcohol poisoning, n then you would have that on ur mind for the rest of ur life. It might feel like ur going against her, but ur doing it for her own good.

Its really up to you.But you should go up to her parents, your parents or a counselor and tell them whats going on.Your friend might get mad at you at first but she will thank you sooner or later.
