I'm not sure you can actually go work at thirteen due to child labor laws- most places I've checked want you to be eighteen, but that's because they use heavy macinery. I think the majority of places will hire you once you're sixteen.

Even then the most "decent job" you'll get is babysitting- most jobs for sixteen-year-olds are minimum wage jobs, and you can only work part time (20 hours or less a week).

You still have about 3 years to go. You can always go to work at WalMart when you turn 16, or there's always McDonald's (which is not as bad as it seems) I started working at Krogers when I turned 16, then went on to Office Max. But for now, you might see about babysitting for someone, mowing lawns, cleaning houses for people, or stuff likethat. You can't get a real actual job until you're 16, 15 in a few places but you'll get very few hours.

A decent job? I think you have to be 18. At thriteen there's nothing. You might get jobs but not that good pay. You can start getting fast food jobs at 15 and a half probably but only couple of hours since kids have school. Sorry.

nicely now's July and additionally you have 3 months to make al ot of money, why not attempt a foodstuff place like mcdonalds on account that they pay stable or purple chicken..they continuously want a hand. In retail i could propose Kmart or some thing comparable - although foodstuff places tend to offer greater shifts.

Well...the youngest I've ever heard was 14, but the average age is. I know that you want to work, but I think that you should enjoy your time being a child.
