Adolescent - September 2007

im 17 and my bf is 18 and weve been going out for almost 7 wonderful months! But i dont think my mom is still used to me having a boyfriend. Im the only child AND indian so this complicates things lol. Im getting my licence/car in about a month so i can drive to see him and vice versa and im getting a job.I maintain good grades in school but i dont think that responsibility is convincing my mom. What should i do? thanks!

last year, i was a straight A student. i landed 1 b because i wasnt on top of my science quiz, and this year, i decided i want to be a teachers assistant, rather than being in home ec like last year. my dad is mad at me because he thinks im taking the easy way out. so, this week, in PE, were doing running, and my allergies are flaring up, and i dont breathe so well because my throat is full of mucus, and i need a note to be out of running so i dont pass out, and now, i just got out of a yelling session from him because im "taking the easy way out"

FYI being a teachers assistant is a pass/fail, and makes my other classes have a larger effect on my gpa,

im also in algebra, (highschool class)

my parents expect me to have straight As otherwise they will tighten down, and restrict me, no tv, no laptop, nothing. and im really starting to snap under the strain.
home ec wasnt my thing it was good at it, but i didnt like it.

IS this truly fair? do they have the right to do this?

I go out every weekend with my friends...and I basicly have atleast 1 hookup every weekend...but I never go as far as sex with them...I make out with them and do other stuff but never as far as sex! Is is still bad eventhough I don't have sex with all of them?

OK...well I have a boyfriend and we have been dating for 2 and a half years and I love him sooooo much! But last night I made such a bad mistake...We got in a little fight and I was pissed off at him so I went over to my friends house and there were these guys there and one of them was pretty hott and he was coming on to me and lets just say i didn't push him away if you know what i mean...we hooked up but it honestly didn't mean anything...I'm so scared and ashamed to tell my boyfriend even though he was so rude to me last night (he called me a really rude name and a lot of other stuff) so basicly I just did this out of anger to make him jealous...but I still love him a lot and he called and apologized to me today...and I know I need to tell him but I don't want him to break up with me...I so scared....I'm basicly in tears! ok so we were at my dads friends house and hes got like 4 acres and and the begining at his driveway hes got like a 4 foot culvert thingy and we took that in his monster truck. the right front tire went down first and then it rolled over like flipped. im totallly fine but my mom wont allow me to go over there anymore. does that sound fair?

Next Friday I’ am going on a vacation (to a beach house) with my bf and his family. We’ve been together 4 years (I’m 16). I love 2 talks to his parents there really nice. .And I may love him. He has invited me to see his like whole family, were doing this formal lunch thing. I really like him so is it odd to bee nervous and do u have any tips. Okay, so my dad is Canadian and Russian, so of course he was raised around hockey. My mom, on the other hand, was a gymnast. I play tennis, basketball, track and hockey. But whenever I tell people I can't wait til the upcoming hockey season, they say, "oh, excited for the Thunder to play?" and I say "No! I'm friggin excited for me to play! And the Toronto Maple Leafs!!" I've always loved hockey and probably always will. When my coaches first saw me play, they asked me to join the boys team along with this other girl who was really good instead of the girls. I was raised Hockey and will die Hockey. And people think I'm weird when I say I hate football players, but love Hockey Players. What the heck? Hockey is so much more dangerous. But why do people look at me like I'm some kind of alien?

Anyway, Maple Leafs kick butt with Alexei Ponikarovsky and Nik Antropov!

*My dad is 6'6 and 215 lbs and my mom is 5'10" and 160lbs. So far I'm 5'7" & 120lbs. And its mostly muscle (not sickly).

and most of the sexual offenders are pedophiles who had sex with children and preteens. On that same end are vicious Pit bulls and Rots.

Now for this school year the bus made it so that me ,and the other children/teenagers who live near me, don't have to wak past these dangers on the way to the bus.
but today the bus driver announced that she wont stop stop at this bus stop anymore.

I am a sixteen year old girl, and my little brother is eleven, neither of are strong, and I don't feel comfortable walking in the dark to school in the morning.

I have talked to my parents and they have called the bus garage.

now what Are the chances of the bus people reinstating my bus stop?

Also, I have no other way to get to school.
my mother works in the mornings,
I have neither a car nor my license.
And my father cannot give me rides to school, because he can not afford gas

My mum wont let me babysit, none of my neighbours have yards so i cant do weeding, no paper round, I cant walk dogs because my neighbours all have vicious rottwielers and car wash is out of the picture because most people around here dont even have a car and i cant shovel snow because it doesnt snow here what can i do!!! i need $$$

She does well in school, keeps up with her chores, doesn't even ask to go out with her friends, and is a good kid all around. But the tounge ring is out of her character, to me. She had it for a week and a half before I confronted her. We don't really talk anymore and I think she feels that I don't care about what she has to say. I made her take it out, and she still acts like she did from before.

my daughter is 11and half and is moody, has a bad tummy etc but shes been like this for months
i have been told since she was about 9-10 her terrible mood swings are down to hormones and her changing body but living with her atm is hell she is our eldest ( 4 others)
has anyone else gone through this and it turned out to be her periods if so do you think hers will finally start?
i keep giving her a hot water bottle ,paracetamol and getting her to have warm baths but nothing helps
