technically...what is it?
it terminating the pregnancy by means of killing the fetus within the first 6 months.
now...6 months. what could you do with 6 whole months? you could make new friends. fall in love. gain new knowledge. learn a new skill. grow. basically you can develop in the coarse of 6 months.
that 'fetus' develops in those 6 months. it's developing into a baby. a baby turns into a child, a teen, an adult, a senior citizen, an important part of society.
the thought of that baby is there. once pregnant...the thought of the baby is existing. you can never ever say you weren't pregnant. right?
and once you have an abortion. you can never ever take back that decision.
you will never know what that baby would be...if only it were given a chance. a chance to dream, to learn, to love, to expeirence, to live.
there are alternatives. personally abortion isnt the answer. if i were young. id put the baby up for adoption. then it will have a chance.
abortion would be my absolutely positive last resort. like if there was something wrong like if i were to give birth the doctors say we'd BOTH would die. If it were just me to die...i'd give birth. but if me and my baby would die....:'( id abort.

Well I am totally pro- life. I am a christian. and yes, I think it is bad even if you are 13-16. Ultimately getting pregnant is a result of our actions. I feel that if a young person is in a sexual relationship than they know the result and have to accept it.
What they don't realize is that abortions aren't always the easy way out because it still affects you emotionally and that could tear you down and make you feel like a really awful person. There are other options.

I think abortion should only be considered when there is serious threat to the mother's health. Although a lot of women love their babies so much they don't care how big of a health threat it is. I think it is wrong to kill an unborn child just because you're not ready for it or it's came at an inappropriate time in your life. Your baby could have done great things in their life, and it's like you're not even giving them a chance. You could be killing the future president of the United States for all you know. If somebody just doesn't want their baby, the least they can do is give it up for adoption. There are lots of couples all over the world that can't have kids and would love to have one!

It doesn't matter if the person is underage or not. Abortion is a terrible thing to do. If you didn't want the child in the first place, why deprive the life that is growing within you a life of it's own? Why kill it before it experience life outside the womb? Don't get pregnant if you don't want to be pregnant. And if you do, let someone have the joy of children if they can't have children of their own.

I think abortion should be avoided when possible.
However your question about abortion for people 13-16. I don't think it is such a bad idea. This is not because I think abortion has any less consequences, but because I feel for the child.
In MOST circumstances it is better for the child if they are not raised by a child that is 13 years old. They are basically being raised by the childs grandparents, and this is not in the best interest of the child.
I understand some people think of abortion as murder, I personally don't see it this way. From a biological point of view, my opinion is that the child is not a child, but rather some cells.

i personally think that abortion is a very bad thing to do. you're killing your own child. i think that if you cannot honestly provide for, and be a father to, or a mother to the child, that you should consider adoption. but killing your child? who would want to do something like that? and this is coming from a guy, not a girl. but hey, i think that it's wrong. i would never have an abortion. i'm strongly against it.

While I don't agree with 13-16 year olds having sex (because of the possible consequences, obviously) abortion is necessary in the case of a 13 or 14 year old getting pregnant. A 13-14 year old is not ready to carry a child, and abortion can save their life.

I think abortion is bad regardless of age. It is the same as the death penalty to me. Then also people use it as a safety net to be irresponsible for their actions.

for the most part, no. some teens get pregnant and they need to have an abortion for THEIR own good. and its bad because how would u feel if u never got a chance to live your life?
