Can any of you give me three points that can prove that Knowles is trying to say the codependency is a threat to individual identity?

These would be dealing with Gene and Finny, and should be able to be expanded (by me) into paragraph form.

I remember reading this book, gosh it seems such a long time ago. The co-dependency between Gene and Finny is huge through out the book, it shouldn't be hard to find three examples to where it seems one is lost in the other. Knowles is basically saying that friends are good, but when you depend too much on your friend, for whatever the reason, you loose a bit of yourself in the process.
