Your parents need to complain to the school. The bus driver needs to stop where she is directed to, not where she wants to. Also, how about getting other parents in the neighborhood to keep an eye out. If I was your parents I would think about moving, or forcing the criminals to move. They need to be living where there are no kids...perferably at the bottom of the ocean!

Can your dad walk you to the bus stop? You say he cannot afford gas but walking is free. I know it may be embrassing but you and your brother's well being is what's more important here. I don't know if they will change the bus stop back. Maybe if enough people complain they will.

You know what? I smoke too, I still walk up to five miles a day. It may be hard at first but he can adjust. If it comes to your safety I would think he'd want to help you out.

I also walk my son to and from school every day. No way am I going to make excuses to not walk my son to school. It's my duty as a parent to make sure he's safe. That's number one with me.

oh my gosh. For starters try to earn money to move because that is sick and disgusting. Maybe you can try to walk to the bus stop covered but be there at the precise time the bus can take you. Then discuss it with the bus driver. Let the person know that your scared. Or walk in a group they are less likely to try and attack.

Yeah, complain to the superintendent or school board. If it's a safety issue for more than one people, people are most likely going to scramble to fix it.

If that doesn't work, walk with a group of friends. Or carpool with someone. Or sign up for a self-defense class...

This is a matter of getting to school, if it were life and death - which yeah, it could be, then your dad needs to think of that and stop worrying about gas.
