my mom nd dad sepertaed when i was three i rember some of the fighting but not all of it and now that im 12 i am strting to realise that i miss having a dad or i want one at least but i dont want a step one, i want my dad but my mom is like why would you want him around you he never pays for you or child support but i still miss having a fatherly figuer around what should i do?

about three weeks ago he was my moms dad and he did of a few things including the fact that he was an alocoholic. It was pretty sudden and since the week before he died my mom has drank EVERY day. even on work nights and everything and she doesnt just drink a few shes drunk almost every night. its hard for me to watch because i asked her to stop and she wont. I dont know if its just apart of the grieving process and this is just a phase or is it more than that?(( on a normal week before this happend she would only drink like 2 x a week)) What should i do? ps i told my dad but he hasnt done anything? so help anyone? thanks

I'm going to my school's Homecoming Dance for the second year in a row. Last year was just to see what it was like- I didn't have a date, just went with a bunch of my friends and we had fun.

I'm a junior this year though, and I was wondering- should I go with a date or just with my friends? I'm pretty sure some of them are bringing boyfriends this year. But I'm also a bit nervous about asking someone out- I don't really know many of the guys at my school, and the ones I do know either already have dates or they're not going to go.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

So, my boyfriend...actually now it would be exboyfriend and I had sex earlier this week. We did it once with a condom. But, about 20 minutes later we did it again. Only we used the "pull out" method. I know this was stupid of me. But, is there a big possibility that I'm pregnant? Or is it just all in my head?

What are some funny prank stories that you did at school? Well im a freshman this year so i don't have any highschool one's ( yet :)). But last year on the last day of 8th grade me & my friends put 3 rabbits in the lunch-room. On the rabbits we wrote the numbers 1, 2, & 4. Sombody saw one rabbit and managed to catch the others but the whole day teachers were running around trying to find rabbit number 3!!! OMG it was soo funny ( don't worry we made sure the rabbits would be okay & they were). So what are some funny school prank stories you have?

Hey, I really need help to determine if one of my best guy friends likes me as more than just a friend. We've known each other for like 5-ish years and been good friends for like 2. Whenever we hang out (everyday in the summer and every weekend basically--except for when we're in college) it's in a group setting, but we have hung out just us a few times. He knows I like him, but I personally didn't tell him or talk to him about this. Even after he found out he didn't act like awkward around me at all. The way he acts in general towards me confuses me too...if you need more info just let me know. Any advice will greatly help! The thing is, we're not 'going out' or dating or anything like that. Also, the last time my friend brought something up about "us", he said that he wouldn't want a relationship with us going away to college and when he doesn't have a lot of money to spend. Do you think he said that just to be nice, or did he actually mean that maybe something will happen later?

what should a parent do when their 13 year old has a cold? As parents should we still pamper her even when she's 13? What should we do? She has complained about not getting enough attention when she has a bad cold and runny nose. All we have done for now is treat her to her favorite food and give her medicine. ok well im a senior in high school and im pretty stressed out...not only do i have to get ready for college applications but im still in the journalism academy and on the basketball team, the softball team, and sometimes the track team...i know most of you that answer this question will say that i bought this on myself...but my mom just wont stop bothering me...she wants to know every little thing and give me a whole speech when all i want to do is go to sleep...i barely sleep at all juggling sports and homework since i usually get home at 9..today she just started talking to me and i said "im stressed out right now..can i please go to sleep..i dont feel like doing this today" then she got mad and started yelling at me...but why doesnt she understand that im stressed out?? what should i do??

Okay..so I have never had sex and I don't plan on having it til I'm married..BUT:

Well my older teen brother is smoking. Its something he has recently started. probably mainly peer presure and stuff like that. He wont stop. he says he "cant". I live with my boyfriend now, in an apartment. I've told my brother he cant come visit me until he stops smoking, not only because im scared for his health, but because I'm also pregnant. There is more conversation to it but I dont want to add all that. All I'm asking, is do you think I'm being too harsh in not letting my brother see me in our apartment. We used to be so close and now we are quickly drifting apart so suddenly. A couple of weeks ago he knocked on my door completely pissed and asked how my four year old daughter was. (I don't have a four year old daughter! I'm 15!). I'm completely blocking him out until he gets his act together and grows up. Am I being harsh, or for once am I doing something right...?
