i love the show american idol, i mean really love it. but i feel sometimes it sends people off. how do they make it when most of them can't hit a note?! it's like each season the talent fades away. it seems as if it's becoming more of a comedy than a talent show. we wanna hear people that can actually SING!! personally, i think the show fell off after the third season (when fantasia won) carrie underwood and taylor hicks are good singers but i don't think they deserved to win. but that's just how i feel. i auditioned for american idol last summer and unfornately i didn't make it but i will again this year however i can sing and a lot of excellent singers don't make it. as much as i love to laugh at those who make a fool out of themselves but after a while it gets tiring and there needs to be more competition. America, step up your game.

Is it possible to get married at the age of thirteen? I'm just curious. I mean, I know you can't get married under the age of eighteen without parental consent. But if you are thirteen, and have parental consent, are you allowed to get married?

my mom just came in and was like yelling at me saying i get the comp out of my room, cause i have failing grades, and im disresecpting teachers. she dosn't even kno why im doing this stuff. shes just blaming it all on my "attitude" thats no the reason at all. im so mad at her rite now, cause now she wants to tell my dad, wat the hell does he have to do wit anything. he dosn't even live wit me so wat the hell does she have to tell him for, its none of his business. my mom said my teacher told her i forge things and all this other ****. well she never listens to me so i will just sign things myself. how can i get my mom to actually listen to me, cause she never does and thats the reason she dosn't kno why i do all these bad things.

i started catching for softball about 1 year ago and i luv it. i'm pretty good too (according to everybody else, including the other teams coaches and the umpire, but i don't think i'm all that great). anyway i play softball because it's fun, winning either comes or it doesn't. anyhoo (oh, i'm a 15 year old girl by the way), i started to have pain in my heels. at first i just shrugged it off, but when it got to be too much, i told somebody. the doctor said my achilles tendon is being strained, he said i could either quit catching or catch and just know it's gonna hurt. softball sign-ups are tomorrow and i don't know if i should put that i'm a catcher or second baseman (my other position).doc said there is a slight possibility that i could tear my tendon, but it's not very likely. i want to catch, but i don't want to hurt myself. what should i do, any advice?

this guy asked my friend out and she said no (he smells and he is really weird) ok well he bumped into her and she said stop he bumped into her again and then she punched him, then he punched her back in her stomtach he said he wasnt going to play games with anyone he will punch girls too she waited a couple days and he still did it so she went down to the office during math which he is in the class with her he got called down to the office and then everyone started laughing at her and saying crybaby and stuff..he barely got in trouble all they did was tell him not to do it anymore the bad thing is this is the second girl he did this to ...what should i do i am very concerned

Ok....here's the deal. My son has some buddies who are from broken homes, or with parents who may not supervise their children as much as I do mine. My boys call me "the anti-drug", simply because I demand to know the who-what-when-where-why of their activities. For that reason, and knowing they don't get the same supervision at their friends homes, most of the time the guys all hang out here at our house. We live 6 miles out of town, so I also shuttle all these kids back and forth. When they're here, they make themselves at home, there is plenty of junk food, pop and invite them for dinner. I THOUGHT WE HAD A GOOD THING GOING.....So the local sherriff just called....wanting to know if I want to press charges on two of these boys for breaking and entering in to my other home in town (it has been empty for a month or so).

My feelings are more hurt than anything. I would've done anything for these boys, as I would my own boys. Do I press charges? What else would be a good lesson

I am now 12 3/4. When I was younger, I'd go on tons of porn sites just to look/get horny/satisfy my curiousity. I stopped because we kept on getting viruses. We got a BRAND NEW computer. My mom AND dad both knew I used to go to porn sites. I told them I won't again. And I told the truth. I never went on a porn site the day we got our new computer. Now, we keep on getting e-mails from SUPPOSEDLY recent sites that were visited and they were porno websites. I never went to a porn site with this new computer, and once my dad even hit me because I went on one when when I was little. So, who keeps on going to porn sites now? I live with my mom and dad. My mom doesn't even KNOW how to use the computer and my dad is a computer expert. After he got off the Internet one day, I checked the history out of curiousity only to find a bunch of 'xxx' sites. No, I’m not pregnant.
I am a 15 year old girl, I am 5 foot 6, and either middle or large boned. I weigh 165 and want to weigh 130. . I am jogging twice around the block 2 times a day ( at morning and at night), plus 50 sit-ups in the morning, and 35 at night. and also 10 push ups in the morning. i've been drinking a lot of water because i've heard that helps, and softball anf dance practices are coming up soon. eating wise, i limit meals to 3 a day, and try to limit portions without going back for seconds. will this work? or do i need to do more? any other suggestions that could help me? thanks..

Okay I am 27 and because of a snafu I live at home with my mom and dad. My sister dropped her kids off 10 years ago so that she could go and keep doing her drugs. She has called them maybe 10 times in the last ten years if that. Their dad cared about them more in my opinion but he is dead from a flesh eating virus due to drug use as well. He was trying to get off. Anyways My nephew has been stealing my food for a very long time every time he does it I call him on it. Well this time he got all bent out of shape and threatened to cut my face up. He drinks in his room in a seperate house, if I call the cops I will get thrown out. Last night was it and now my dad is angry with me because my nephew threatened to cut my face up. He thinks I instigated it by telling him not to eat my stuff. He is 18 and know right from wrong. He is underage to drink and he smokes pot, he has no diploma and the only reason he is going back to the GED program is to get money and to beat up some kid posting more

i'm still a teenager. when i get older i want to adopt older kids , you know the teenage throw away kids that have been through a lot and nobody wants. and also the kids that are in a family(like a brother and a sister) so they won't have to be separated. but everybody is telling me that the older kids come with problems and emotional issues and to go with babies and toddlers instead. i still have lots of time to decide, but what do you think i should to?

Alright so my parents are education orienated (sp). They made me take advanced classes through high school that I would pull a C+ or B- in, I was always a year or sometimes even 2 years ahead of everybody class wise. Im not the smartest guy around though, and I cant even imagine another 4 years of school after high school.

Ive talked to my counselar at school (ex-Marine), an Army Recruiter, and a Marine Recruiter. I WANT to enlist in the Marines and get an associates degree in Criminal Justice (I already have 12 of the 60 credits I need) while Im enlisted, but have no idea how to break it to my parents.

Im in good shape and can easily do the IST at the recruiting office and have good ASVAB scores, I want to enlist as Machine Gunner. Im sure you know the kind of parents Im talking about; all pro-college and my mom is totally anti-me going to the Military but my dad always supported ROTC or the Academies. But I WANT to enlist and get an associates degree from there, REALISICALLY,
