you're lucky i'm not your mom - i would spank your @ss if you used this kind of language on me. you would also be minus a computer until your manners improved, not to mention grounded. are you mad at her cos she doesn't listen when you try to talk to her, or is your version of "talking" to yell and screech like a little fishwife, when she simply won't listen and give you your own way? a mom with 3 of you to manage, and come home to this after an exhausting day at work, has my sympathies. if you're mad at your dad for not being in your life, then pick up the phone and tell him, and give your mom a break. at least she's busting her butt to give you your internet connection, which quite frankly i'm not sure you deserve. i'm sure she would rather have a weekend in the bahamas that listen to this crud from you lot all day and night. like...act your age and grow up

You need to humble yourself. Are you disrespecting your teachers? Do you have failing grades? If so, then admit you have a problem and get some help either from a school counselor or an adult that you trust and respect.

Try to put yourself in your mother's shoes.

If you're disrespecting your teachers and failing your classes, the school has probably contacted your mother - did you stop to think how embarrasing it must be for your mom to get a phone call like that?

If you want your mom to listen to you, the first thing you need to do is respect her and show you care about her feelings. Help around the house. Ask her if there's anything you can do to make her life easier. That may sound corny, but it will show her that you are really trying to reach out to her. THEN maybe she'll listen to you and take your problems seriously.

And please work on your spelling and grammar. If you can't write properly, you will have even more difficulty getting someone to listen when you have problems. Good luck.

I don't even know why I bother responding to these, you probably wont read the whole thing & just give me a thumbs down. Heaven forbid you actually take advice that you ask for...You need to think "why did I ask this question?", If it wasn't to learn from, you shouldn't have asked it. If you are looking for someone to agree with you on this you came to the wrong place.

You should do what your mother says! If you have bad grades, your computer privleges as well as others should be taken away. You "earn" things like that. I don't really care what you reasons are for poor behavior or bad grades, you "chose" to act like a spoiled brat! As for telling your father, he is your parent too whether he lives there or not! MAYBE she never listens because you never say anything nice, respectful or worth discussing. Nootice I said MAYBE! I bet if you got your grades up & started respecting ALL other around you, your parents would listen to you! What a concept! Change starts with you.. What can you do to better the situation, not make it worse. ( when I say worse I mean you too, you are making it hard on yourself!)

sorry hunny, i'm in the ninth grade and you basically blew it with your mum right there when you decided to forge repeatedly. seriously, if she really doesn't listen to you, then like talk to her like a normal intelligent person and tell her what you think in a polite way. think of it...if it wasn't for your mum or dad, you wouldn't be typing on this computer or be able to be a spoiled brat, which according to your profile you love being. also i agree with what someone else said: get good grades, go to a college far away.

and yeahhh it sounds like it IS your attitude that's the problem, or at least a part of it. look at the situation from other people's point of view, not just yours, and erase any 'bias' or whatever [i'm forgetting the word] you might have when you do this. also, hun? you're in the eigth grade. don't be disrespecting people who probably have a lot more life experience than you. you're probably going to embarassed when you think of the way you acted 'when you were younger' when you're older. i know it sucks when people judge you by your age; i'd know, but you have to draw a line somewhere.

Im am probably around ur age so dont think im some adult giving you advice. You need to find a time when you and your mom can sit down and have a talk. don't accuse her just say how you feel (the I rule, i feel____) About the computer, accept the punishment and try not to do what she doesnt want you to do. Then in a month or so ask her again and tell her that you have been trying to be good!!! Hope this helps

youre lucky you're not child, having a computer not in the central part of the house is dumb on any parents part. PUTERS IN THE BEDROOM IS A NO NO. Well your dad helped create you so he does deserve to know, isnt divorce lovely effects on kids.

IT doesnt matter why you are doing those things, JUST KNOCK IT OFF. and why are you still on the computer? You just proved how disrespectful you are by not listening to your mother.

Remember your kids will give you all the hell you;ve given her so you might not want to have kids if you dont straighten up,lol

Shes your mother, respect her, PERIOD

If I had your grammar skills I'd be extremely embarassed! Now, back to real life; if you're getting bad grades - it's no ones fault but your own. Your mother has every right in the world to be disappointed in you, removing your computer and involving your father - they are BOTH your parents. You need some help and until you change your immature/disrespectful behavior - everyone is going to make you upset.
You did state that no one knows why you are doing this - why can't you tell your mother why you're behaving this way.....
No one will know what's going on with you until you open up and say something. Like I said before, you need to learn to be mature and respectful of others. In other words, turn your life around or you'll get nowhere fast.

I can't say I understand how u feel, but what you need to do is talk to your mom and let her know the reason for your behavior, I don't know your mom but if it was my child, that would have been the first thing I would have done was sit and talk with her to show my concern. Try talking with her if that don't work you should try talking to your dad even though he don't live with you he is still your father when one parent fail the other usually steps up. Good Luck

Sorry Sweetie, Your Mom is right. I can tell how much of teenage attitude you have. If you really want to get your Mom to listen to you, drop the attitude, drop the swearing, QUIT forging things, and show her that you really want to do good, and be good. Start by showing her the respect that she deserves. Its tough enough on parents and children when families are split, do your part to participate as a productive member of your family.
