This is a small town, How do you feel if to get crime off the street and get the kids and teenagers off the streets and get them in volved with their community that they will truly love to do? I have an idea, I need parents thoughts and opions of this, I want to get a 10 bedroom house, or 5 , bedroom house, Make each room, a play room, 1 room will be filled with computers, the other will have 2 pool tables in it, the others will have slot machines and game vidoes, and a reading private room for books and all, have a complete kichen, full of snacks and have the kids come to the house the ones from 12 to 18 years old, after school and on saturdays, to hang out, Have the parents voluntter their time, to watch the kids, to stay out of trouble, have it open from 3 in after noon till 9 at night, week nights and then from 10 Am till 11 at night, and shut it down over the weekends at 11 at night, Have a patrol officer or someone from the law be a guard, so fights will not be accepted nor drugs

I'm 14 and in high school. i know i shouldn't care about this or anything but i sometimes feel jealous of people in HS with boyfriends. i don't need one, but it'd be nice to have someone in your life like that. you know? my best friends don't have boyfriends and we're ok with it. it's nothing to worry about.
i have lots of guy friends who love my personality. not be overconfident, but i don't think i'm ugly, i think i'm actually pretty (well most of the time) =)
but none of them feel that way about me. or any other guys i know. is it because in their eyes i'm just a little girl? because i'm flat and short? is that why no one likes me?
because like i said, i have a pretty good personality and i'm not ugly.
i know this sounds SOO superficial, but it's really how i feel sometimes.

well alright herees the deal theres this girl that is talking to a guy she meet a couple of days ago over the phone and now she talkin to hi on person so there talking n some of the girls friends pass by an say hi to her then after they leave n the girl goes home she recieves about 5 calls from her friends saying that who was that hot cute guy n sh respond sit was juss a friend so they ask can we have his number n she says no hes only mine does that mean that girl likes that guy?

i would i will always be a kid inside.. i may look diffrent but i will always have a part of me that is still a little kid. i know i gotta grow up eventually and get a job.. im going to be a wwe diva/wrestler but hey i am a mickie james i wont gotta grow up to much.. so my question is if you could stay a kid or a teen forever would you? also if you are older than me (14) would you want to go back to being a kid?

My daughter is a great kid. She gets good grades, works, is very active around the house with chores and all of her younger siblings, she has a great personality, is social and active with her friends (no boy yet) and is just a great kid.... very beatuiful too! I love her to death but a FACE piercing???? And in the bottom lip! Someone, please explain to me the facination with piercings! And, since I remember being a teen myself I know that if she wants it bad enough she will go ahead and get it despite what we say...only it wil be somewhere we cannot see it and then I have to worry about where it is and who she is showing it to (you know, like a tatoo on the bottom) how do I encourage her to wait until she is 18! I have my schools semi formal next month. My dress has cross ties in the back of it. I have a size 38 D Chest and I really need to wear a bra with it. How do I instill in my kids an INTRINSIC desire to do well in school?
They are 13 and 14. One wants to be a doctor or veterinarian, the other wants to get into a very competitive university. I've preached and preached to them that in order for them to realize thier desires they must do well in school NOW. It's to no avail.
They are great kids, I couldn't ask for better. I'm just concerned that they're flushing thier future down the toilet. Please help.

I have a friend who worries a lot about her 13-year old girl. She's very worried about modesty, so she makes her girl wear a bodysuit, that kind of underwear that encases all her torso and breasts and clips at he crotch. I know she loves her daughter and is sure it's for the girl's best. But the girl hates that garment, says it's uncomfortable and hot. But she has no choice, her mom decided she has to wear a bodysuit everyday, all day long, except for sleeping and taking a ashower. Some days ago the girl rebelled, made a fuss, cried, but didn't succeed and is still wearing her bodysuit. My friend asked for my opinion, I said she's being harsh and shouldn't force her girl to wear it.

im almost 16 years old, and last summer (august) i lost my virginity to a boy i loved (big mistake) but he wasnt a virgin, anyway thats not my issue, so after we broke up, i got my period like a few weeks later, but it was like 1 week late, but it came. then now i am 3 months late, BUT my friend told me that the reason i am late is cuz i keep getting sick (like the flu and colds and stuff), but i dont get it, when i was a virgin, i got flu's and colds all the time but it never made me late...so how come now im late?

Well I'm 17 years old and my curfew was to be home by 6:00 pm. I missed curfew by 3 hours. As you can guess, im dead meat now. She "assumed I was missing" and told all my brother and sisters. When I got in, she asked me where I was at, and lied. I know I shoudn't have, but I'm sure my mom would of snaped if I told her I was hanging out with boys. But the really bad part, she found out any way wich makes it worse. She's really upset with me. She doesn't even think im a virgin any more.

I'm pretty much the good kid. I get good grades, I hardly ever get in trouble. I have one slip up, and now I get the thrid degree. When my older brother's and my sister missed curfew, They didn't in this much trouble.

My two girls have their own bedrooms. They each have their own bathroom stuff that they pick out -- shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant. So I try to avoid that un-equal sharing crap.
But the big problem is that each of them goes into the others' bedroom to take things. They'll take things that they claim belongs to them, or they help themselves to the others' items (CDs, clothes, shoes, etc.). This usually happens when one is not at home. Then they come home, see that someone has been in their room, and they go to majorly fighting. I've threatened to put locks on their rooms to keep them out of each other's rooms. Can anyone suggest other alternatives?
