im almost 16 years old, and last summer (august) i lost my virginity to a boy i loved (big mistake) but he wasnt a virgin, anyway thats not my issue, so after we broke up, i got my period like a few weeks later, but it was like 1 week late, but it came. then now i am 3 months late, BUT my friend told me that the reason i am late is cuz i keep getting sick (like the flu and colds and stuff), but i dont get it, when i was a virgin, i got flu's and colds all the time but it never made me late...so how come now im late?

Get to a doctor or take a pregnancy test. Losing your virginity should not change how colds affect your period. Stress affects your periods whether you are a virgin or not.

Could be many reasons why you are late. But 3 months is a long time...go see a doctor I doubt that you are pregnant...but something obviously isn't right.

you are sixteen - your periods can be sporadic. I would'nt get too concerned. Are you worried that you may be pregnant? If so maybe you should get a at-home pregnancy test. If you are close and open with your parents I would suggest telling your mother so you all can discuss what to do next. Hang in there - I know that it is scary :)

if you had un protected sex you need to go do a test. having a cold doesnt normally stop your period. maybe you are pregnant and this could have happened before your last period

After having sex and period doesn't come as it is expected, it doesn't mean they ou're pregnant, the thing is that when you're pregnant, period wouldn't come 'til 9 mos after. I remembered mine, since i started having sex, it period shows up in like every 3mos or something. Don't fear.

THAT IT IS A KIND OF "HORMONAL DISSORDER" BUT NOT ESPECIALLY THE KIND OF SERIOUS ONES.
THIS IS THE RESULT OF THE STRESSING THAT WAS PROVOQUED BY YOUR FIRST SEXUAL EXPERIENCE.
I WILL SAY THAT IT WASN'T VERY PLEASSANT, MAY BE YOU DIDN'T EXPERIENCED IT IN FULL.
THEN THE RECALL IN YOUR MIND (IN YOUR BRAIN)PLAYS TRICKS TO YOU DISSTURBING THE NORMAL CYCLING OF YOUR PERIOD. BECAUSE IT HAVE TO SEE WITH THE SEXUAL HORMONAL PHASE.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IT IS JUST RELAX AND TRY TO THINK IN THIS AS A PART OF YOUR PAST, AN EXPERIENCE EITHER GOOD OR BAD THAT IS NOW JUST THAT, "PAST".
TRY TO LEARN ABOUT YOU EXPERIENCES, YOU HAVE A LOTS OF EXPERIENCES MORE TO BECOME "PAST EXPERIENCES" IN YOUR LIFE
THE KEY IT IS TO LEARN THE MOST YOU CAN OF EACH EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE, AND PERHAPS IT IS NOT EASY SOMETIMES TO RECOVER YOURSELF FROM "BAD EXPERIENCES", IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO LEARN FROM IT ONLY SO NEXT TIME YOU WILL RECOGNIZE WHEN A BAD ONE IT IS COMMING UP, EVEN BEFORE YOU START IT. THIS WILL GIVE YOU ENOUGHT STRENGHT TO RESSIST IT AND EVEN AVOID TO FELL ON IT.
DONT TAKE TO SERIOUS WHAT IT IS ALREADY PAST OVER......IT IS BETTER TO THINK IN THE FUTURE, INSTEAD IN THE PAST.
ONCE YOU REALIZE THIS IN YOUR BRAIN, BELIEVE THIS, EVERYTHING WILL COME BACK TO NORMALLITY
