im at my dad house rite now, but i have to go back to my moms house tonite. i really don't wanna go back there, my mom just yells at me for stupid reasons and then that makes even more depressed than i already am. and then i get more mad at her and really don't want to talk to her about my problems, that she has no clue about.she dosn't kno i have depression or that i am really upset about her boyfriend or anything. she just makes me feel like crap when she yells at me, i wanna run away if im going back to that tonite. i hate that house all she ever does is yell at me to do things. i hate it, why can't she just see that im depressed and yelling is just making it much worse than it was before. how can i get away from her constant yelling and other **** cause im getting to the point of me like never telling her personal stuff again.

mom made me wear my sister panties because i didnt have any clean boxers becuase i never pick my clothes off the floor and put them in the hamper, now she said i can just wear little girls panties till i can learn to pick up my clothes off the floor and all my boxers are clean, this is embarrassing they are really pink frilly and girly, do u think this is a fair punishment? what should i do?

ok so my gf is pg im 15 shes 14( i no we r young) we live with her grandparents and she has some psycological problems(you've probably seen her questions,she got a ton of them on her old account,her name is koi) but i was wondering wat i could do to help her so shes not crying all the time.or you might have seen her grammas questions also. please what can i do. nothing seems to be working and i love her tomuch to let her die.

He has friends who encourage him to do stupid things. Parents are absent and don't seem to care about him. (I can't do anything about them.) I moved out of home years ago, so I'm also "absent and don't seem to care". But I do.

He was caught driving once and was warned; our mother assumed that was the end of it, but it's not.

He broke his leg badly last week "falling down stairs" (I think he must have been up to no good). He's in hospital now; seems like a good opportunity to talk to him alone.

What would be the most effective things to say to him (goal: him stopping his bad behaviour for good)?

I don't think it would be best to lecture him parent-style or threaten him. I'm happy to keep the past arson and driving a secret. I just want him to stop.

I want to encourage him to make correct decisions by himself. I want to be proud of him, not worried about him. And I don't want him ending up unhappy with a screwed-up life; or injured (again); or dead; or anyone else injured or dead.

I keep getting really bad cramps in my lower stomach area and everytime i eat something i feel really sick and sometimes throw up.

He has been so perverted lately. I'm 15 and hes 14. I've known him for a few years but never really was friends with him. i made friends with some freshman this year and he and i were talking. lately hes been such a pervert trying to throw things down my shirt and is like saying stuff like you know you want me. I mean as in he asked you, you asked him, you guys were bf and gf, not as in dance class, ect. also a slow song. games like snowball at dances dont count, unless u guys danced again later. mine was 'Neon Moon' , and it was with a really great guy, i just wished i would of been more conciderate because i was scared and i thought he was lying when he said i was beautifull and really nice, all i did was answer in 'yes', 'no', 'dunno'. and after that night i really thought about it and regret it...... i was 12

for thousands of years parents have spanked their children. then thirty or so years ago it became a hot topic and it was looked down upon. I was born in the late 1960's and so i was a child of the spanking days. i have grown up to be a normal peaceful person with a loving disposition. yes my mother spanked me on more than one occasion. the issue is child abuse. i can understand and support laws for beating a child. there is no sense for an adult to take out there problems and frustrations on a child. but is a spanking the same as abuse? my opinion is that in the last thirty years children have become more and more rebelious because of this subject. they know that they will not get a spanking. they know if they are told they must take a time out and they refuse nothing will happen to them. if a child is 2 yrs old and up, in my opinion a normal spanking does more good than harm. How do you feel?

I have never smoked in large part because of all the stuff we know about smoking. I don't understand how teens start to smoke knowing how bad it is for them. I guess i am naive because i never gave into peer presure and tried anything i did not want to. I never binged on alchol and never tried any drugs. To me with all our knowledge no new people would start smoking

my daughter is 14 and very good looking and popular, she is a bit streetwise but not a hard nut, when she goes out i imagine all sorts of things and when shes late, as she always is, i am up the walls with worry just ready to call the police when she breezes in she thinks i over react but i am just concerned i know too well the dangers out there esp. for young girls. she is always in a crowd its only walking home that she would be alone it would be about 15 minutes she would have to walk alone to get home and its along a long road with very few houses and high trees at either side of the street, shes out now and im already worrying. am i crazy

She's always out sleeping over her boyfriends house, and it's quite obvious she's having sex. She doesn't care about school because she's a brilliant singer and actress, she says all the other subjects don't matter. How can i explain to her that no good drama school will let her in with poor GCSE grades? She's gets drunk a lot, which isn't good for her voice. how can I make her realise that she won't get anywhere with the attitude she has right now? Please help!

any ideas? she happily talks about 'trivia', we have a laugh together over lots of thinsg, she asks me stuff,i give best reply i can, but important stuff she just shrugs about. when i ask if she thinks about her birth dad, she says'nah not really'. she has3photos in room, 1of him, 1 of stepdad,1 of grandad, the 1 of her dad has been scratched on th eface, and a phot out of a mag of some boys face has been stuck at bottom of pic with a talk'bubble' saying 'why me?' - i found it under pillow when i was making room for her friends when they had b/day sleepover here! i put it back,haven't mentioned it. together with out of character behaviour (tho seems relieved to have been found out and acting more like herself[cynical voice-or is she really??]) i am worried that she could be suppressing lots of feelings&emotions. tell her frequently that she can talk about ANYTHING to me,thats what mums are for etc. my mum suggests counselling for her..what do u think??

thank you for such an insighful answer, it made me cry! please read my 2nd posting too! all advice gratefully received, i'm torn between thinking she'll pull thru and that she could possibly need some kind of counselling... sorry to impose, but if you can find the time to reply to the 2nd posting that'd be great. i'm ill with worry. p.s. now moved etc kids have restarted some of their hobbies etc!

apologies to those who can't understand abbreviations-did so to try put in as much detail as possible!if u read it u will c the pc is in kitchen which is main room where i am most of time.some good thoughts&advice tho,thanks to u all.i'm worried she has unresolved issues over split with her dad-at5yrs old i took her&her sis(now9) away from a potentially dangerous situation-he was sporadic&inappropriate in contact(got into HARD drugs&drink)-has stepdad now&another sis aged2.had financial crisis last year-stepdad made redundant-no work4 6months-had to stop some of more expensive pasttimes/sports etc-lots of stress-evicted by landlord due to redundancy-now moved&got new job(i work p/t whilst re-training) just a month after she went2high school.i spend as much time as poss with all3 girls/lots of hugs&chats-but she's very reluctant to talk back in much detail.she's a great girl,very kind&thoughtful, except recently at school been acting up etc.am worried,dont know what2 do-counselling??

Ok, I'm 14 and I never slow danced with anyone(which is kinda sad and pathetic if you think about it). I'm moving this summer to california or somewhere far (from taiwan) and I want to dance with someone b4 I go. I don't know how to ask someone or how to dance!!! I also don't know who to dance with!! my d started high school last sept.expected changes in attitude/behaviour etc, have tried letting her grow up with balance, but shes had personality change. after discovering attidude at school/late h/work plus new insolence!, i gave her big talking to, confiscated bloody mobile(present off gran)and checked out sites she uses on net.pc in kitchen so thought keeping eye on her..ha!cleverer than thought with pc! but bebo site... she has cartoon2'express' who she is..but its a chick in undies&handcuffs saying'i'll be your sex slave'. also no privacy&unknown boys(?)sending messages etc.next day grounded her&banned net excpet4h/work.gave talk on paedo's etc.is she just exploring sexuality or am i right to be worried by its precocious-ness?all happened since met new best friend-her parents have also grounded her etc.gotta be14to get on bebo, so all of Yr7have lied about ages!mine said she's16.hmmm.why cany bebo regulate this??am i right to be angry&upset?also puzzled&guilty.decent advice???
