if this is true it would be because the relationship between father and daughter is so damaged that the only way the girl feels she can get his attention is to behave in a sexual way and flirt.
Also you must remember the girls first male contact is her Dad and in a healthy relationship she could well feel safe testing out her behaviour with the only man she can trust 100% and who she knows will never hurt her.
If the father flirts back well that is incest and very sick behaviour of course and Fathers need to know their boundaries.
I read the atricle and I have to say there is some that I agree with I think girls are always flirting but once she reaches an age where she is aware of it if she uses that power on the man closest to her then I would imagine there is definatley a problem

Apparently it is not as rare as people may think but I would urge those who have these feelings to see they're docters and get referred to a phychologist as soon as possible. If anyone has feelings like this they must not act upon them for one thing any children would more than likely experience health implications later in life and the emotional effects on the dad and the teenager could be devestating !
