we can say "no" trust me i just did to my boyfriedn last night. he was horney out io his mind whil we were laying on his bed watching a movie his paretns down staries watching a football game his sister and her b/f in her romm doing who know what and he asked me if i wanted too and i said "no" (i'm 13 and he is 15) so don't sya that we can't say no and then he asked me why not and i told him because we had just got togeether on sunday of last week (no i'm not a vergin but i'mnot a $lut either) and he tried to presre me even more and i told him that maybe if we had been dating a lot longer than 6 days and no one else was home i just might give it some thought then. but i lost my verginty in a rape case and the rapeist was one of my boyfriedns that was a lot older than me i was 12 and he was 17 and i was after him for about 2 years and he says yes and i left a football game at the school with him (we had been datign 6months) and a bunch of his friedns and as the night wore on it ended up just being him and i at his house and he said do you want to do it and i said no becasue i was waitnign for the right guy and the right guy was not shane hahn but i said no adn he would not quit i had a knife held to my throat so i had to giv in or i was going to die because i could feel the meatle sinking in to my nick and i could feel the blood running so not all teens and pre teens say yes that easy and i would love to take my first time back he is spending 2 years in jail and has to pay me 5000$ but yes it does feel good so most of the teens that say yes and have sex is because of the same reason that you do because they like it and us teens just have to learn to stand up to the presure i was not let my b/f last night talk me in to it ya i made out with him for a while but i held good to my "no"

Being a teen myself, I've seen many of my friends going out and having sex. What I think makes them do it may be peer pressure or just to feel accepted. This may be stupid, but it's a fact of life for teens and preteens to just want to fit in, especially if they're just starting high school. Of course they can say no, but sometimes they may feel like they can't. If it's a son or daughter that your worried about, talk to them. Start with subtle things, then work your way up. If you start out too bold, they may shut you out and feel like your giving them a sex talk.

They choose not to say no because they have this idea in their heads that if they say no to a guy than the guy won't love them anymore and since everybody else in their schools probably does it they're looked at as being weird if they haven't lost their virginity by 14 years old. They go out and have sex because their mothers aren't home to guide them and raise them. Instead the moms are out at "work" instead of doing their job. They have sex to get attention which doesn't work at all and because they go to school with $luts who get knocked up by some guy they just met. It's all gotta do with peer pressure. Now a days your not cool unless you've lost your virginity by 14, have a baby or are pregnant with one, and slept with 20 different guys in the school.

Im 14 and have never had sex. But my best friend has had it. I guess its peer pressure like the other answers say. I mean in the movies and music videos and music it send out a bad message somtimes. They might also think they are in love but they dont no for sure well thats my answer

I'm 14 years old, have never had sex, and do not plan on having sex until I'm married. I often wonder why my peers give in to the peer pressure and such, since it's much better to wait. I think it's because they believe the person will like them better if they do, but on the contrary, they may lose that person's respect.

Yes. We can say no. I'm 12 years old and still a virgin (and proud of it) I dont know why preteens and teens hav sex. I guess they think it's cool or somtin.

It's peer pressure and pressure from their boyfriend/girlfriend. Sometimes their boyfriend/girlfriend will make them feel guilty by saying, "Don't you love me?" or "If you love me than you'd make love to me." or something like that. Also, they feel like they are mature enough to do it and they think that rumors about how you can't get pregnant doing this or that so they think, "Oh well she can't get pregnant if i do this..." But some teens actually think, "I'm still young, I want to wait until I'm married to do this..." That's what I do... I hope that helps!!!

Pressure, Hormones, like to experiment, etc. They think the age is right for them but they might not know better.

not that ive done it but ive done plenty of practicing if u know wut i mean. :) for guys its prob a combo of horniness and peer pressure. dont know bout the horniness with girls. might be more pressure from b/f which gets back to the horniness thing in guys. and if its horniness then its the same reason adults have sex
