Ok, I'm 14 and I never slow danced with anyone(which is kinda sad and pathetic if you think about it). I'm moving this summer to california or somewhere far (from taiwan) and I want to dance with someone b4 I go. I don't know how to ask someone or how to dance!!! I also don't know who to dance with!! I mean, I like someone (a little bit) but he's kinda popular while I'm in like in the anime-fan/indie/normal/ weird ppl group and I'm afraid that I might get rejected. no stupid answers pls:)

yeah, all you do is sway. once my friend said(quite loudly)"WTF this isnt DANCING, IT'S CALLED BEING A FRIGGING WAVE IN THE OCEAN!!" she was sugar-hi,lol. but i m still kinda nervous that i'll b 2 awkward or something

I understand what you are talking about.
Well I would just ask one of your guy friends to dance. But you can ask the popular guy if you want because I mean your moving and you might not ever see him again.
And while slow dancing...well at my school...the girl just puts her arms around the guys shoulders and he puts his hands on your waist and you just shift from foot to foot. Thats all

Just drop hints to him.
Have your friends ask him what he is doing that night or whatever
Then have one of your really good friends teach you how to dance, but most likely he doesnt know how to either

At 14 it doesn't matter. You just get really close and sway. There's nothing to worry about.

well just ask him, if he says no, its not the end of the world. you are going to miss out if he would says yes, tho.
