I had these things the whole time I was growing up and now my children (especially my daughter) get them. We usually give her a pain killer, and put a warm heating pad on the spot that hurts. Massaging the area will also help a bit. If the pain doesn't start to lessen after fifteen to twenty minutes, maybe a trip to the doctor is in order. They gave me a prescription when I was younger for a stronger pain killer because I used to get them so bad I literally could not support my own weight and had to be carried to the car to get to the doctor. I would also talk to your family doctor about them because while there may not be much they can do for "growing pains" it may be something else all together and you doctor should know about it. Best of luck.

Take her to see a doctor, growing pains that bad aren't normal.
In the meantime, have her lay in a hot bath and see if that helps.

How old is your daughter? See the information on the link below but you may want to take her to the Dr. to rule out other issues. Massage and stretching also help.
