How would you say to someone if you want to babysit for them? I dont want to be too casuel and be like hi i want to babysit your kids?

I have done that before. There was this really sweet little girl that went to the same gymnastics studio I went to, I was 14, and I think she was about 5, and I would play with her and she was SO well behaved. So I asked her if she had a babysitter, and If her parents went out a lot, and she said she didn't have a babysitter, so I saw her dad when he came to pick her up and I asked him if he was looking for a baby sitter, b/c I thought his daughter was such a sweet little girl, and that I live down the street and looking for a second job. He said, yes, and I gave him my number, and it was great! They were the nicest family ever!

Say that you are talking with a young childs parents, before you leave say "If you ever need a break, I can watch the kids." Or, your parents can talk with thier friends about you babysitting. I took a class on babysitting, and parents have been talking with thier friends and have had more babysitting jobs then ever! Good Luck.

I woudn't go all professional. The only way to get into the business is to wait until someone asks you. Even if you don't know young kids, if your mom or dad has friends that have young kids. You get asked to babysit one time cuz the real babysitter is busy that night, you do a great job and get recomended. You have to enter the world of babysitters. DOn't push your way in. with business cards/.

just say you love kids and are lookign a way to earn some money (babysitting is really the safest way) and ask if you could watch them sometime if the parents want a break to go out. just dress nice. just like normla street clithes.. nothing revealing or anything though.. liek a jeans an a sweatchirt or a nice top.

Hey i babysitt to. I was in the same situation at one point. What i did, was i made a flyer, and gave it to them, because i wanted to babysitt for them. Or, you can just say "if you need a babysitter, i would be happy to babysitt for your kids". Thats what i did. And eventully you will get a job. But usually they will ask you, but you have to give them your number##. Have fun babysitting.
